- i mean, why should he? he already has a quirk related to snowโ which he could personally use at any given, and appropriate time
- so thatโs why heโs pretty puzzled when he sees you jump into the air literally a foot higher from excitement, when youโre told that it snows in japan yearly
- โreally? it snows here? yearly? when? do you know when? is there an exact date?โ
- heโs seen classmates of his get excited for the first snowfall of the year, yeahโ but this is completely different
- you like, made a countdown for it ๐ and youโre constantly looking up in the sky for any sight of snowfallโ even though shouto tells you that it just happens when it happens
- heโs not necessarily weirded out by this, heโs just not used to excitement of this high degreeโ if anything, heโs a lot more used to people dreading snowfall (itโs totally not endeavor and bakugou) as there is a hassle in shoveling, and it takes ages to fully melt for spring.
- so thatโs why it makes sense when he finds out you grew up in a place that didnโt snow at all, and itโs constantly rain, shine, heatโ or maybe something in between

Izuku is staring at you when he gets in the car, thinking to himself that there is not a single thing about you heโll ever forget. He could never see you again, but heโd remember you as you are every Saturday morning when he sees you: eyes bright, smile lopsided with your laugh ringing out like a church bell as if youโre some sort of sanctuary that reminds him itโs time to worship, but heโs never stopped since last Saturday.
You like summer and everything that comes with it. You like the feeling of the sun on your skin and how lemonade and ice cream and fruit just tend to taste better. You like sundresses and sandals and long days. You donโt even mind the sweat that rests on your brows or the way everything sticks together. But out of all of the things you like about summer, what you love most is the farmers market in the next town over.
Itโs a massive space, taking place in a barn surrounded by cornfields and wildflowers. The fruit here is the best: a girl with long black hair sells peaches so juicy it dribbles down your chin and oranges unlike any other; a blonde man with fiery eyes sells corn that ruins everyone elseโs for you; a girl with brown hair who tells you on the side of the milk carton you bought which cow it came from. Everyone here is kind.
