New York-based photographer. You'll find various photos by me, as well as inspirational photos for future shoots I stumble upon and the occasional humorous finds. Photos I shoot range from concerts, cosplay, modeling, glamour, product, and night club shoots. All photos posted are mine, unless I have credited them otherwise. Those that are mine will tend to have a link to one of my pages at the end. I know the common internet belief is that if it's posted on the internet, then the photo is public domain, but it's not. So if you see a photo you like that I've posted, then please REBLOG the photo instead. An alternative is to at least credit me and link back to one of my sites. That's the respectful thing to do. Thanks, and enjoy my posts!

Mastermind Creations Ocular Max Uproar and Enmitus. Sadly no Catcall, as the Uproar/Catcall bundle I received contained two Uproars instead. Awaiting Catcall to be shipped out now, after reaching customer service via email. It was a good thing though, as the second Uproar figure had a broken cannon :/

Anyway, Uproar is a redeco of Laserbeak/Buzzsaw from the E-Hobby exclusive (part of their Cobalt Sentries set), but is actually the original color of the G1 mold from back in the Microman/MicroChange toy line, which would later be absorbed into “Transformers” (G1). The second figure of the E-Hobby set would be Howlback, which Catcall was supposed to be, and he was the original color for the figure that would become Ravage in “Transformers.”

Enmitus was an existing “toy” in the original toyline, but he was basically a walkie-talkie with a tiny figure attached to the back that you could transform, but not remove.

STOP PAINTING YOURSELF TO COSPLAY ANOTHER ETHNICITY

Painting yourself to look like another ethnicity is still wrong. I get wanting to do it for accuracy's sake, and that you may be a big fan of the character and wanting to do them justice... However there's still people in the world being persecuted for the way they look.

At the end of the day, night, event, convention, whatever, people of that ethnicity do not get to take off their skin color or ethnic features can go back to “normal.”

Sure, MAYBE one day we can all be civil and human, and see one another as a person, but that day’s not today. That day won’t come until we can overcome the thought that another person might be a rapist, criminal, terrorist, stereotyped occupation, and etc. due to their ethnic features and cultural garbs, and I don’t mean YOU specifically, but society as a whole.

But what about aliens and other characters? If they’re the same shade as another ethnicity, don’t do it. There’s no orange humans, like Starfire, nor are there green people, like mutated Poison Ivy.

Actors do it for roles though? Very rarely these days, and for them it’s a job, and they’ll still face backlash. You’re doing it for cosplay, which is a hobby for the most part and for majority people. If you want to do it, then fine, but be prepared for the backlash.

In this day and age of the internet, it’s close-minded for someone to claim they are unaware of “blackface, “yellowface,” and etc. It may not have been a big issue in your country, but it’s easy to see it’s not accepted by majority for the most part. Be a better person and just don’t practice or defend it.
