Currently sad because I was pulling some dialogue from an old TAZ episode and realized Taako chose the mongoose mask because mongooses are resistant to poison and he’s got a deep-seated fear of poisoning his loved ones with his cooking.
This is a real fast and dirty sketch but my hand is acting up so it’s probably all I’m going to manage for today. Been trying to figure out how I want to draw my favorite cooking wizard and I’ve finally managed to rough out something I like. Still toying around with hair and facial features but yay! One step closer to maybe animating some shit.

I’m sketching out some mucha-esque dragon art art- anyone have any thoughts on what would be a good flower choice for Dorian?
Gladiolus’ name is very symbolically charged. I think most people associate it with the lily, which is interesting enough- the ‘sword lily’, strength, passion, moral integrity- but its also an anatomical term. Gladiolus. The body of the sternum, a bone tasked with shielding the chest, protecting the heart. Just as Gladio shields Noctis, protecting his prince, the symbolic heart of Lucis, from external assault.
If Gladio didn’t steal his glasses and deny him coffee, it’s unlikely the man would ever sleep.
