My New Simblr

I decided it might be a good idea to start a separate "simblr" for all my SIms 4 posts rather than bore my non Sims playing followers to death with countless Sim spam.  If you like my Sims 4 stuff, the Sims in general, or you're curious what all this Sims stuff is about, feel free to check out  and follow my new simblr:

It just occurred to me that when I posted the pictures of my new pond I hadn't bothered to post any pictures of the house itself.  This should correct that. Here are a few shots I just took of the outside and a few rooms inside the cabin.

"The Outdoorsman's Retreat" is a huge wood cabin sporting a great room, dining room, kitchen, study, three bedrooms, and two full baths. It also has a semi-wrap around porch for outside dining and entertaining.  In addition to the aforementioned fishing pond, there is also a small outside campground for when sleeping indoors gets a bit tiresome.

The lot itself is 50x50 and both the house and property have quite a bit of custom content (far to much to credit everyone responsible for creating it). As promised this earlier this morning, here are some pictures of Mr. S's fantastic personal pond at my Outdoorsman's Retreat property. I did a little additional landscaping around it to make it fit in even better with plants I got from Plasticbox's Liberated Grass/Reeds pack. I personally love all the cat tails and reeds.

I did get Brody up to level 3 fishing at this pond and it does in fact act like a fishing spot in so far as bait and what have you.  I also love the fish that randomly breach the pond's surface from time to time.

When I saw Ironleo78's The Big Lebowski area rug as I was looking for more custom content for my sims and buildings, I knew what my CAS project was going to be for today. Thanks to some cc I already had I think I was able to come pretty close.

For all you ingenious cc creators out there; I'd love it if one of you guys could come up with some plaid shorts for men, and open bathrobe and shorts combo, and a sweater that more closely matches the one Jeff Bridges wore in the movie. It would really make my day.

Uh oh, looks like trouble has arrived in Willow Creek. Let's hope there is an unannounced Exorcist profession in the upcoming "Get to Work" expansion so Ron Swansim can rid himself of this she-devil.

It's no secret that I enjoy constructing buildings and creating sims in The Sims 4 even more than I enjoy playing the actual sims I create. So just imagine my surprise when I was searching for more custom content tonight to add to my world and I came across this Joker graffiti wallpaper by One Billion Pixels?

As soon as it was done downloading I jumped into build mode to add it to the back wall of the garage I have in my Hobo Hangout. The fact that I had already created Joker and Harley Quinn sims to wander around and cause trouble made this a perfect addition to my Oasis Springs neighborhood.
