INDIE RP ACCOUNT Captain Rip Hunter as seen on Legends of Tomorrow - please read rules before interacting -

When all this is over, I’m going to get a t-shirt made. You know what it’s going to say? It’ll say “Rip Hunter was Right”.

With apologies to Maria Hill, who says this about Nick Fury in Avengers:Earth’s Mightiest Heroes (S2e12)

Ahem, tell me ALL about your A.U.! The Guardians of the Spear of Destiny as the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse AU

Avatar

Finally.

Alright so listen, from the start I called bullshit on the Spear of Destiny just coming from One Dude’s Blood, but I totally get the whole Christian connection.

(Why they never used any other symbolism, beats me; all the opportunities, like a stained glass window of Jesus’ death behind Courtney’s reveal, or saying something like ‘Jesus Christ’ and another going, “Exactly” but I digress)

The point of the Four Guardians’ goal was to basically save the universe from anyone who would want to use it; thus stopping the apocalypse, or basically the opposite of the AU. In the end however, they could have very well actually caused the apocalypse, not through bad planning, but simply encountering things they were never meant to encounter.

Also, each of them lose their pieces in various terrible circumstances, therefor breaking another ‘seal’ in the fabrics of reality (much like how you release the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse).

Courtney is Famine, cause she kinda gave up her piece for Camelot, since she’d been ‘starving’ for a place of her own.

Charles is Pestilence, cause 1) he was a doctor making it ironic, 2) he was blind, 3) he died due to a medical procedure he preformed on himself.

Henry is War, “Henry is a military man”, greets people by punching them (under understandable circumstances).

Rip is Death, for… obvious reasons.

Anyway, there are two Au’s.

One is set in Doomworld where, the Legion being pieces of shit, brainwashes each of them into their own personal bodyguards. Bible Symbolism ensues, and they are the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

And the Legion, like the idiots they are, give them powers and shit based of their Horseman, and they wear the long swirly robes and everything which cloaks their face, till they take them off in the end and are like, “What’s up you assholes you think the Spear works on us anymore?” and basically turn against the Legion and unleash Hell.

They survive at the end too btw for REASONS.

There is also the secondary AU, which is in a mythical kinda world where magic is common place. These four, after constant exposure to the Spear, have basically warped into something very similar to the idea of the Four Horsemen, just less powerful and neutral to everything around them but their families and the oath they took.

They just want to keep the people they love and their pieces safe, and are willing to go to terrifying lengths to do so. Sometimes they work as a team, but mostly they stay away from each other for their safety (despite being one of the few friends they have). Plots range from the Legends (a mismatched groups of C-level magicians) asking for their help, and vice versa, too the four of them slowly descending into that warped state. (There’s also a third AU where they each become connected to the actual Horsemen through their pieces but that’s under construction).

Thank you and good night.
