Not dead yet.

Hi! I have been reading old threads, thus why I have been on here.

I would love to say that I will be back and RPing, but as much as I want that, I k is it won’t happen. Not from lack of desire but lack of time.

See, since my last “I’m alive” post, a lot has happened. My teaching job was a mess, I ended up leaving. I got a new teaching job at a much better school.

Husband and I bought a house, house had some issues, one of which required a biohazard team. We adopted a tortoise and a dog.

And the biggest thing, I had a baby. She is almost 9 months old.

I also got diagnosed with OCD, which makes most of my mental health issues make a million times more sense.

So yeah, there it is, my life update

Well over a year

It has been a long ass time since I have posted.

I don't think I am back, not yet. Or if ever. A lot has happened and I just don't know where I will be, writing wise in the future.

What has happened?

My boyfriend proposed, and we got married. I moved across the country got a new teaching job in another state. And I taught durring covid. which was an adventure.

That is the sparknotes version. But I wanted to just pop in, say "Hi - Im not dead" but who knows if I will be back.

“I’ll help in any way I can too. I mean I cant cook as well as Hamish but I can BS it with magic.” Nia offered.

There was a sharp pain as Astrid was putting her leg back in place and together but Narvi did her best to not show the pain that came with that, deciding to chuckle and Nia’s comment. ‘Let's be honest, none of us can cook as good as Hamish. He does a pretty good job at that.” 

She reached for her husband’s hand and gave it a small squeeze, needing a positive touch.

"Please, for the sake of everyone, we know the princess is pregnant again, but inform her to keep her hormones under control. Her passion is more than enough on a regular day. This is getting out of hand."

Emily thought it over. She didn’t speak for a long, long, time before she nodded. She weighed the risks and what they had to gain from it before saying, “give me time, while they are in school to pack their favorite things. He is at work, but you two should not come with me for this in case he comes home early.” He couldnt bear the risk of her husband turning to violence on the pregnant woman before her. “I’ll bring their things. When the girls get out of school, we can tell them that we are having a bit of a sleep over. I don’t want them to know.” She bit her lip.

“Absolutely.” Narvi agreed. Hell, she would have agreed to anything if it meant that everyone was getting out and safe. “We can provide you protection as well. Thor does not stand for acts such as this. Our king will stand by your side. And you always have us. Just tell us the day and we will arrange everything.”

The doctor gave a smirk before saying, “it’s more fun to argue than to just go with it.” But he nodded and motioned for Narvi to go forward first.
Outside there was what seemed to be a festival. People selling goods, there was music.. and everyone kept talking about a baby(?) raffle. The doctor raised an eyebrow and looked to his wife. “Right time, wrong place. Let’s check it out. Find out what they mean by this baby raffle.. maybe we can get some cool clothes for Omega from this raffle?”

Once outside, the announcement caught her attention. Instinctually something told her that there was something wrong. But she couldn’t actually figure it out right then and there. “Right, I am sure they will have a lot of really neat things. Maybe somethings for Destin as well.” She took the positive spin the Doctor was offering and jumped on it. 

It wasn’t until they got closer, and Narvi could hear the yelling clearer, making her heart sink. “We only have the one baby up for raffle today. No physical signs of impairment. However, the family decided that having another baby was too much. So they decided to get some cash flow. We paid 50 quid for this kid, so let's start there. Do I hear 50?”  “Doctor,” Narvi spoke reaching for his arm. “It... No... they are... its a baby!”

Last time I posted I said Daniel was coming out in 19 days. This time he will be out here in 20.

I have finished my class,

I took and passed my test.

It is now up to the state to give me my professional.

Today I am giving the dog a bath, and finishing laundry and the gonna jump on here.

Okay...

So not even sure where to start...

My parents are moving out here to Florida. In march. 

Daniel and I are talking about engagement. 

I am trying to finish my professional. I am about halfway done my online class, then I have a test and I am working on my program in the school and I will be done. 

There is a 1005 chance I will be moving to Missouri to be with Daniel it all depends on when. 

My father is coming out next weekend. 

Daniel is coming out in 19 days... Then again for my entire spring break. 

It is busy but worth it... if that makes sense.

The plan

Tomorrow I will give an update on everything,

And I plan on coming back. Slowly at first, as you will understand in my post tomorrow why, but I want to come back. Bar I wants to come back. I will be back

General update from my last OOC post

1. Not pregnant 

2. I passed my subject matter exam. I only have one more test to do and then maybe two classes/1programs. (I am still waiting to hear back)

3. I got the plane tickets to see Daniel (Boyfriend/more) after Christmas. 

4. I survived thanksgiving

5. I am DONE Christmas shopping and because of gift cards that I used, it was less than $100

The doctor laughed softly as he heard the little groans of protest even from the console room. He walked to Destin’s room and said, “maybe we should bring the victorian style pram and place him in it. He can sleep on the go? I dont think even the sight of bunny Jinger would make him happy to wake up.”
As he said it, the tardis conjured up a double basket pram that would blend in with the time. The doctor said, “Omega isn’t going to need that, she will be in someone’s arms the entire time, be it us or my parents.” But the tardis did not change the pram regardless.

Narvi looked at the pram and honestly just went with it. The Tardis always figured something was going to happen and who knows maybe they would help out a family who needed a break or something. Not likely but that was the only thing she figured at the moment. 

Gently Narvi put Destin in the pram and moved to the handlebar and grinned. “I think, that if there is one thing we have learned, is to just go with it.” She gave a small laugh and started to walk to the door. She wasn’t totally dressed for the time, but It wouldn’t be the first time either. “Well let's go see your parents.”

Latching On

The doctor carried Omega into thr Tardis, not wanting to put her down as she slept in his arms. As soon as he even moved to do so, she made a noise of protest. “Being day two, I think I can cuddle her as long as she needs..” the doctor said with a goofy, happy dad, smile. “When you put Destin in his bed, I’ll get the tardis flying.”

He set the coordinates, assuming the tardis was going to follow them. She had gotten better about that when children are on board, after all.. but the tardis was already plotting to take them to Victorian London instead.

Narvi smiled seeing the Doctor coo over the little girl. She lived his new dad smile. Every time he held a baby that was theirs in his arms he had that smile. And she lived for that moment

It took a few moments for her to put the sleeping Destin down in his bed, and made her way back to the front of the Tardis.

As soon as he saw Narvi he moved to single handedly pull the lever. Omega whimpered in her sleep- unaccustomed to the feel of traveling through time and space. The doctor cradled her closer and whispered a gentle “shhhhhh you’ll get used to it, my sweet.”

As soon as they landed, the doctor raised an eyebrow. He half expected one of the kids to come in, ask where they’d been.. but there was nothing. One look at the scanner told him why.. “Maybe the tardis wanted us to tell my parents and Vastra’s family first instead.”

Narvi hummed as she looked at the screen. Date and time was right to stop by the family but they weren’t parked in the normal spot. “Well let me go back and get Destin then, can’t leave him behind.”

She gave a small chuckle as she walked back into the bedroom, she gently picked him up and he groaned in protest. “Grandpa Ulysses and grandma penny are around, thought you would want to say hi. Even go Vastra and Jenny?”

The doctor laughed quietly at Destin’s reaction to the food. Sure, they’d just woken up for breakfast.. but “maybe we know how to get him to take naps more easily.” Omega gave a hearty yawn for such a little thing, and her own eyes began to flutter.
“Oh, yes. You’ll see all about it when you read your books.” Idlas said happily handing Narvi the bag. “You’re welcome back here, any time.”

“Oh we will be memorizing those books,” Narvi spoke with a laugh. She stood, adjusted Destin so that he could rest against her easier, and felt his hands wrap around her neck. 

“Oftentimes, this is the best time to bond with them,” Idlas whispered. “They fall into a blissful sleep” 

“Good to know.” Narvi smiled and took the bag. “Thank you for the kind offer, I am sure we will be back again.” She looked at the Doctor. “Are you ready?”

“I was born ready.” The doctor said with a smirk as he stood up, sleeping baby in his arms. Even sleeping be could feel their own bond growing. Such a lovely little girl. Omega made a sighing noise at the movement, but settled into her new papa’s arms nicely.

“Take care, all of you, in your magic box.” Idlas said, walking them to the door.

“We will.” narvi spoke with a happy smile as she walked with a sleeping Destin in her arms “and thank you for everything, the food, the hospitality and of course the family.”

Naturally Narvi kissed Destin’s head, and he grew a smile on his face. He was such a sweet child.
