"Then the angel said to him, “Put on your clothes and sandals.” And Peter did so. “Wrap your cloak around you and follow me,” the angel told him. Peter followed him out of the prison, but he had no idea that what the angel was doing was really happening; he thought he was seeing a vision. They passed the first and second guards and came to the iron gate leading to the city. It opened for them by itself, and they went through it. When they had walked the length of one street, suddenly the angel left him

Then Peter came to himself and said, “Now I know without a doubt that the Lord has sent his angel and rescued me from Herod’s clutches and from everything the Jewish people were hoping would happen.”"

Sometimes I think about the garden scene in the scarlet pimpernel and I probably remember it wrong because I read it when I was EIGHT and it CHANGED ME I was eight and having a full aneurysm like THEY'RE IN THE GARDEN and it's NIGHT and they're MARRIED and it's been YEARS and she's too proud to be honest because she's like how DARE he assume she aided in the bloodshed willingly and he's like I thought I loved her and I still do but she had those people killed how could I be open with her ever again so they're both STANDING THERE IN THE GARDEN and it's the most STRAINED CONVERSATION EVER because they're both Yearning SO HARD but neither can be honest and she leaves disappointed AND! HE!

KISSES THE STEP SHE WAS STANDING ON BECAUSE OF A RUSH OF UNCONTROLLABLE EMOTION

Like HELLO??? CHANGED LIVES????

STAR BOY AND ASHA FULL DELETED SCENE

I FOUND IT I FINALLY FOUND THE FULL CLIP OMG

Okay thoughts?

This is the best scene of the entire film. Like I really liked it, and the tone felt genuine to. I FELT THE EMOTIONS SO WELL.

In my opinion, when you feel something in a film, YOU KNOW it is good. Like how horrifying Hunchback of Notre Dome is or Prince of Egypt.

If they don't make you feel anything about the characters, then you need to review what went wrong.

Ofc, you don't have to FEEL what is going on in a good film, but the darker the film, the more that it hits.

This...THIS RIGHT HERE, felt like old disney.

WAT THE FREAK WHY DO I FEEL MORE EMOTION AND WONDER AND EXCITEMENT AND ATTACHMENT AND CHARACTER IN THIS FOUR MINUTE CLIP THAN THE ENTIRE MOVIE WHO MESSED THE FILM UP SO BADLY

This is just a psa that you do no need to be crazily successful. For all of humanity, lots of people have lived and survived with no fame or wealth or recognition. They did what they needed to to live, found people who made them happy to live with, made their little art and had their little interests and hobbies, and were happy and sad but most of all happy sometimes

-someone on this very website who is telling people not to reblog art that they found offensive

Star Wars: Comics vs. Movies.

Yes, but the point is: which one hurts us more?

Luke the Jedi, strong in his conquered suffering, carrying the lifeless body of a man who was once prone to striding as proudly as Luke does now, strong and untouchable, but is now brought low and helpless by a final act of love. A stoic hero holding up a spent sacrificial victim.

OR

Luke the boy, recently tortured within an inch of his life, dragging a weight too heavy for him, but still struggling on with all the painful determination of a lonely child who’ll do anything to hold on to the dying father he has finally truly found again.

Discuss.
