not gonna lie i dont consider hopper and janes fight to even be canon lmao,, its awfully written to a point where you cant root for either character (hop is an asshole the entire fight and jane starts the fight for literally no reason) and the only reason its even part of the show is to give jane an excuse to leave and be angry to channel her powers later when,,, they couldve just not written it at all and had jane be angry at the oh idk twelve years of dehumanization and abuse she faced that completely robbed her of her childhood

i dont think hopper (or kali) are abusive because that scene shouldnt have existed and doesnt even REMOTELY represent either character. its fucking bad.
