Private && Selective || Writer: Shay || Est 11/4/15 You don't need to know my real name or anything really about me. Except one thing... If you've hacked this computer... Color me impressed. Maybe I'll want to meet you someday.

Otohime couldn’t help giggling slightly at such words,      finding herself rather amused. ❝ It wasn’t rude in      the slightest, no need to worry. ❞ She assured, one      hand reaching out to brush some hair back into place      for the other woman. ❝ It was simply a surprise…      No one has been able to tell before. ❞
Image

—≪💀≫”Well, it has been stated that I’m a special woman.”

Particularly by those she worked with, who honestly were trying to insult her, but that was information she didn’t need to know.

“I have to say, you are quite beautiful.”

At first, the deity was silent, unsure of what to say or      do, but since someone had been able to see beyond      her attempts to remain hidden… ❝ May I ask what      gave this away? You’re quite perceptive, Miss… ❞
Image

—≪💀≫”Just somethin’ about you. You seem different than anyone I’ve ever met. I’m sorry if my statement was rather rude, La Diosa.”

She moved a bit closer, trying to study her further.

—≪💀≫ “Oh... Mierda . You’re a goddess, aren’t you...”

Well. Hopefully she hadn’t pissed her off. If she didn’t believe in deities before, she sure as hell now did.

“Hey! Wait!”
Before Katherine protest any further the woman was gone. This left Katherine with only one thing other than her hat. The tracer she hid under it for finding her cube. Depending on how far she went the poor girl was in for a long walk.
“Oh, this just isn’t my day… First there was the problem with my meal at that dumb diner, then the ship had to be repaired and now some…” She stopped there before her words got a little racy. There was absolutely no need to go there or to that level of rude. Katherine knew that and thus stopped herself. She instead quietly stomped about following her cube locator.
Image

—≪💀≫ “Come on now.... Show me what you can do, little guy...”

Luckily with her mini teleporter, she was quite far away from the site of the heist. She currently sat crossed legged, electronics all around her as she tried to figure out what made this cube tick.

Edrea deliberately moved now to go sit in the woman’s lap. Giving her a smile before once more sticking her nose in a book.
“I’m sorry, am I being a bother? I can’t help but worry I might be.” She remarked, knowing full well what she was doing.
Image

—≪💀≫ “Do you always welcome yourself uninvited into people’s laps?”

All Sombra wanted to do was watch the newest episode of the webseries she had gotten into. That was it. She didn’t ask for this.

Avatar
“Y-You..!”
At this point she now slammed her hands on the table. Fine, if she wouldn’t shut up she’d make her shut up in a way she probably wouldn’t expect. Manea roughly grabbed Sombra and kissed her.
“Will you shut it now Somebroad?”
Image

—≪💀≫”Oohh.. You can kiss good for a virgin, chica.”

An ever present smirk. She honestly didn’t know what to do with her, did she?

>> ⚡️ >> “Hah, absolutely. I don’t intend on doing anything strange. Well, stranger than normal. You’re okay with my hair suddenly changing colors and well, magic, right? That’s kind of part of the reason that I’m Queen.”
She chuckled, heading back to her chair and relaxing, closing her eyes. At least this encounter was over. She hadn’t even had concrete proof that she was going to be visited, but seeing what had been happening in neighboring countries, as well as rumors circulating, she had been preparing for this moment for quite a while. At least it was over with now.
Image

—≪💀≫”To be honest, if you weren’t able to do that, I’d be disappointed.”

A laugh, before she moved to sit down in a corner, taking out her small tablet. Might as well update her to-do list.

“When the war was waged the old written knowledge that humans and Dragon Lords worked to write down was burned. Even though the dragons came out as the victors history can still be lost.” Scarlet explained in a regretful tone. “It was before my time, so I could not write down the knowledge for future generations.”
There wasn’t hardly anything left from the days before the war. A shame too as that information was invaluable to so many scholars.
Image

—≪💀≫ “That’s honestly a shame.”

As a lover of researching, it hurt to hear that there was missing information..Things lost to time one could never get back. Sure, there were things about herself she had made sure were that way... But that was for security reasons.

“Is there anything else you can tell me that is remembered? I feel like I’ve discovered a whole new culture.”

Avatar
“Alright..” Selena answered with a small sigh. “Follow me then. We aren’t too far from the research center I spend most of my time and money.”
After giving these instructions Selena began to lead Sombra down the street. The two were about a ten minute walk away, so there was enough time to chat.
“So how often do you get curious about how you can move peoples’ bodies around?”
Image

—≪💀≫ “Not often really. I was just curious as to what I was picking up on. Otherwise you’re the first I’ve ever hacked the limbs of.”

Hands were in her pockets as they walked. At least the woman was forgiving... A lot of people Sombra messed with, didn’t really like to talk to her ever again

Avatar
“Manea.” She stated. Not only to correct her but to feed her own ego a bit. At least now she knew the pest’s name. “Well, Somebrah. It has been a displeasure thus far with your little snooping.”
Two could play the game of being a little brat. Was it below her? Yes. Did she care? Absolutely, that’s why she was even sinking so low.
“I’ll say it one more time just to make sure you’re not deaf. Don’t touch my internal systems again.” Manea growled. After issuing that demand once more the face plates that covered her lips shifted out of the way, allowing the machine to drink her coffee.
Image

—≪💀≫ “Hmm... It says right now that you’re feeling quite flustered and angry. You’re also questioning why your species has the type of additional sexual functions they do in comparison to humans. You’re also wondering how the hell I’m knowing this when my computer isn’t even pulled out right now to read.”

Ah the blessings of an invisible visor. Time for another sip of coffee.

Avatar
“Standard details are simple enough.” Scarlet replied. “If it exists in nature then a Dragon Lord species rules over it.” She informed. “More information can be given once I know your name.”
It felt strange to her. Most humans knew the standard information. If she were from somewhere where she lived under a rock then maybe Scarlet could understand. The problem was that the woman seemed quite studious. It gave the librarian an uneasy feeling.
Image

—≪💀≫”Unfortunately, all I can give you for a name is Sombra. My real name is lost to time and the delete key.”

She leaned forward on the counter, smirking at the librarian.

“Don’t think too much of it. I haven’t really paid attention to talk of Dragon Lords. Most of my research has me stuck in present day things... They don’t really show up as much as they used to, do they?”

Avatar
“It does, but may I ask why? You seem a little troubled by all of this. Are you okay?”
Selena began to wonder if maybe her handicapped comment had caused trouble. She only meant to use it to prod Sombra little. She hoped that wasn’t the case.
Image

—≪💀≫ “I’m fine, chica, there’s no need to worry. Just because I’m a hacker doesn’t mean I don’t have a heart for good causes. Besides, there’s money involved... I can’t turn that down, especially when the account is looking a little dry.”

A smirk and her confidence was back to normal.

“Cream. Sugar, No decaf.” Manea answered in embarrassment. “Stop saying these things out loud!”
She pointed to a table in the corner. Instead of saying another word she just pointed at the table again before getting in line. Here we had a Queen of militant, bio-mechanical robots from a different world not only being sexually embarrassed but also standing in line in a coffee shop.
Once the order was put in she sat around waiting before taking a pair of coffee cups to the table. She was still angry and still a bit red as she slid the cup to Sombra and stared her down.
 “Name. Now.”
Yep, still very angry. The name on her own cup read “Manea”, but Sombra’s it read “Perv”.
Image

—≪💀≫ “Oh, right, you don’t even know my name. How rude of me. It’s Sombra, nice to meet you... Um...”

She squinted at the other’s cup.

    “Maneah”

Now was it her accent messing it up or intentionally screwing it up? The world would never know. Especially as she kept her face devoid of amusement as she took a sip.

“Yeah, I consider it a trade in goods. Cash for data to be studied.” Selena confirmed. “If there are ways to improve my prosthetics then I could use that knowledge to improve other peoples’ and ease some of their quality of life burdens.” She explained further.
It was here that Selena’s resourcefulness could shine. The noblewoman took what was essentially a situation that was terrible for her and worked out a means to make it something positive.
Image

—≪💀≫ “How about, you pay me, I come to your factory and see what else I can do to help you. Sound fair?”

Hey, she wasn’t a complete bitch. She did things when she wanted to. She wasn’t like Reaper... Her agenda was whatever she wanted to do. Whether it was right or wrong, she was going to go with what her gut told her. Besides, she had nothing better to do right now.

Avatar
Scarlet opened up the file and scanned through the pages inside. Dragons and Dragon Lords. Her kin. She lifted her head to look at Sombra, seeing if there was a hint as to why she was looking into her kind. The woman didn’t seem to be much of a scholar, but looks could be deceiving.
“I am a Dragon Lord.” Scarlet spoke. “Knowledge on Dragons as well as our own kind is something we Lord class species have on instinct alone.” The Dragon informed. “Might I ask why you’ve found yourself interested in my kind?”
Image

—≪💀≫ “They’ve been coming up a lot in some research I’ve been doing on some old folklore things. Since you happen to be one, maybe we could talk? I’m just wanting to know some standard details.”

She could easily find out weaknesses as they spoke.

Avatar
“I’m afraid they do not.” Scarlet apologized. “All of our books are hard cover originals or hand written duplicates. Were you looking for something in particular?”
As she made her reply and inquiry Scarlet slowly made her way over from the desk she was helping at on the first floor.
Image

—≪💀≫”That’s fine. I was wondering if you had any information on this particular subject.”

She slid a file across the counter to her. Inside were documents about dragons and dragon lords. It was something Sombra had been seeing come up in her research a lot lately. So why not travel to the library of one such being to learn more?

Avatar
Selena studied the information intently. She didn’t realize that such information was available when it came to her prosthetic limbs. There was so much new information to explore.
“Apology accepted.” Selena answered. “So, is it possible I can get a copy of this information? I’d love to study it further. It might be useful for improving the field of prosthetics greatly! Of course not for free. I’d be willing to pay for it of course.”
She already used her bitch card for the day. There was a limit to how often she’d use the idea of her being handicapped against anyone. The limit was once a day.
Image

—≪💀≫”Wait, you’d pay for this information?”

Sombra felt a small conflict rising in her. She still felt bad for what she had done and really for this kind of info it wasn’t worth much. However... At the same time, her wallet was feeling really empty.

“I think we could work out a deal.”
