Hey everyone! I still don’t like most of my art well enough to post it, so here are some Mistress-specific headcanons for now! I’m genuinely surprised how many I have lol

-In contrast to the warden’s noodley physique, the mistress is actually pretty dang toned and enjoys working out

-She can actually shapeshift and alter her appearance just like the warden, just does it less often and for more practical matters (such as changing clothes and making herself look nice)

-Honestly a pretty nice person once you get to know her, and even a little quirky, though before Stingstress she covered it up with her cold and stern persona

-Like the warden, she had a very bad childhood that led to her completely leaving reality and building “the greatest prison in the universe”, maybe I’ll write her one someday lol

-Was born in 1965, due to the same age regression as the warden she appears to be in her late 20s

-Is a lesbian and was never really attracted to Stingray, warden or Bruce (except for that one time with the bees but we don’t talk about that)

-Had a LOT of bad past relationships (hence the line “eh, I’ve been called worse things than a thing”)

-LOVES Pixar movies, but refused to tell anyone until after she changed into a peace-loving hippie

-Similar to how the warden suffers from nightmares, she struggles with sleep paralysis and gets it several times a month

-5’8, slightly taller than the warden

-Listens to a wide variety of music, but her current favorite is 60s-70s psychedelic rock due to being a hippie (duh). She also enjoys heavy metal and lofi.

-Since warden has a real name, I feel like a name that suits her is Lucy :) still working on a HC last name

That’s all so far! She’s genuinely one of my favorite SJ characters, even though I think she was kinda done dirty by the writers and I wish she had more screen time ^_^

I rewatched the Time Police episodes of Superjail recently and just felt like sketching some of the Warden from that scene where he talks to the bullet (that was meant to assassinate president Hightower in the future) in his cell. He’s just so wonderfully noodly and expressive and fun to draw ✨

Does anyone want to do a Superjail RP? All my RP partners ditched me, so I'm looking for new ones. I prefer someone else playing Warden and me playing my OC. Can adapt to any roleplay style. I'll admit, I do like angst, but can do all sorts of things. Leave a comment or DM me if interested.

I am rewatching the whole series to put together a list of all episodes The Warden's past/childhood appears in, similar to the one of all episodes The Mistress appears in, and now I'm asking myself "Did The Prison Mogul own other prisons?". In the pilot episode Bunny Love, right when The Warden says "My father's legacy", this image is on the screen:

The model prison in the foreground is presumably the one The Warden spent his childhood in, that we see in flashbacks in later episodes, and maybe The Prison Mogul's main/first/favorite (or only, if what I'm about to point out isn't true) prison he owns. In the background behind Warden, there's a poster with what appears to be their version of the United States, with symbols standing for what's most likely prisons.

My best guess is that these were prisons The Prison Mogul also owned, to go with the one Warden spent his childhood in (not overly important, but I wonder if the prison where Warden spent his childhood is displayed on that map). It would make sense, because the model and map are onscreen as Warden is saying "My father's legacy", with Warden's arms outstretched.

My final verdict is that the map displays The Prison Mogul's other prisons. However, it appears these supposed other prisons are never shown or mentioned again for the rest of the series. Should I stick with my final verdict because it could be true, and the topic of the other prisons just never came up again on the show (which logically feels right)? Or forget about it, because it was retconned and no longer true? Or was I completely wrong about the meaning of the map in the first place?

Superjail takes place in the late 2000s to early 2010s.

This one is obvious, but Mr. Grumpy-Pants takes place on December 25th 2008, as revealed at the end of the episode:

Also, the opening scene of the episode can be safely assumed to take place on December 24th 2008.

This is reaffirmed in the episode Oedipus Mess, with Cancer's statue at the hospital as seen here:

Also in Oedipus Mess, at Warden's parenting lecture, the top right corner of the chalkboard says March 8th 2012.

Superjail Video Game Project (18+)

I have been working hard on an idea for a Superjail beat em up/sidescroller, and was curious if anyone else would be interested in participating. I will include a link to a google drive where all my ideas are so far, but they are still a bit messy, as it’s very much a WIP. I plan on making a full manual for the game, and then sending it off to adult swim and titmouse to maybe see if they would be interested in the idea.

It’s a long shot, but I love this show so much! Wouldn’t it be amazing if it had it’s own game? I have too many ideas to put here, but the main premise is that you pick two characters from a pool of fourteen (only a handful are unlocked at the start) and experiment with how each of their abilities/attacks/specials work together to complete levels/defeat enemies/find secrets.

If anything, I would love for Christy to see the manual once it’s done; I want him to know how much I appreciate his show. So let’s make this a reality! Here’s the link, go take a look if you’re curious, thanks :D:

Yet another Superjail fan project that never came to fruition. This fandom can't finish anything for shit! (This fandom has had ideas for fan projects many times before, but none have ever been actually finished.)

I created a list of all the episodes in which The Mistress appears in. In order of what's listed on HBO MAX:

1. Ladies Night

2. Vacation

3. Stingstress

4. Oedipus Mess

5. Superhell!

BONUS: 6. The Superjail Inquisitor (cameo; not actually her, as she was just a construct brought to life by The Triplets from the Superjail Inquisitor newspaper, so more like an alternate reality cameo)

This is obvious, but she didn't appear a whole lot, only in 5 episodes (6 if you count the alternate reality cameo) out of 37 episodes, with only about 11-15 minutes total of screentime. Next, I'll do a list of all the episodes in which The Warden's past/childhood is shown or mentioned!

I love theorizing about my favorite media, especially Superjail, and I'm trying to figure out exactly what happened to the hillbilly alligators in the series finale.

So, in the series finale The Superjail Six, The Warden ventures outside of Superjail, and meets a clan of hillbilly alligators. He gets together with an alligator girl, and they have many alligator babies together, whom Warden completely neglects and abuses. Warden is kicked out from the clan when he chops down the clan's sacred tree. They form an angry mob and try to invade Superjail. Warden's alligator partner is shown to be throwing eggs as projectiles over the walls of Superjail, with the first batch of the alligator babies and alligator women helping. When the eggs are inside the walls, they hatch, revealing the second batch of alligator babies, who then maul the inmates, alongside other adult alligators who were shown climbing the walls into Superjail a few moments before.

Ash then drinks explosive fluid the alligators were using to make homemade molotov cocktails and explodes. The explosion is so forceful (and it appears to go for some degree of a radius), it literally just disintegrates the alligators outside of the Superjail gates, possibly including Warden's alligator partner and the first batch of alligator babies. The alligator partner was shown to be standing right at the gates of Superjail right before the explosion (we never see her again after the explosion), and we don't see the first batch of alligator babies enter Superjail, and we never see any of the alligator babies again. The explosion also causes the battering ram made of the trunk of the sacred tree Warden chopped down earlier and was tied to to crash through the gates of Superjail, and bounce on the ground several times, crushing what appears to be all the alligators (and inmates) inside. The alligator babies are not seen to be crushed, nor is the alligator partner. At the very end, we see the carnage, with dead inmates and alligators everywhere, in the Superjail walls (again, none of the alligator babies nor Warden's alligator partner are seen amongst the dead, but this final shot might imply they all died).

Is it safe to conclude that they all died, including Warden's alligator partner and all the babies? (I don't think Warden would care what happened to them; if there were any survivors, he would probably force them to leave Superjail and not have anything to do with them, imprison them and let them be in harm's way when the inevitable daily chaos breaks out, or even just kill them himself or instruct someone else (like Jailbot) to do that for him, even if it was his alligator partner and/or babies; I don't think he ever actually cared about his alligator partner or babies, as he's probably too selfish and an immature manchild to truly and selflessly love someone else, even his own offspring).

This wouldn't necessarily be the first time the Superjail crew made a whole group go extinct, as it appears they killed all the warrior women in the episode Vacation.

Ugh, being in a dead fandom is so frustrating! I'd consider Superjail a long-dead fandom. There's nobody to talk about headcanons and theories with, and nobody to roleplay with. Nobody sees your fanart and fanfiction.

When I first joined the fandom in 2017, it was already quite dead. It saw an uptick in activity in 2018 with new people joining the fandom, but most of these new fans had already left the fandom by 2019.

Since then, a few people have joined the Superjail Amino, but their interest usually turns out to be fleeting, not lasting too long in the fandom. The member list on there is mostly comprised of inactive accounts. Sometimes people will start roleplays with you, but they stop responding after a very short time.

Oh, the joys of a dead fandom! The 9 fandom is now more active than the Superjail fandom.

Psst

“Ghosts” as a series finale where Warden has to confront his abusive father, accept everything he did, and also be like “and… it doesn’t matter. Because you took so much. But I can’t let you matter. Not for one second more. That’s why you’re still here. Isn’t it?”

Avatar

To be honest, I haven't thought much about a series finale for Superjail, just that I want a revival, perhaps even have it blow up to the proportions and expanded universe of Rick and Morty, Star Wars, and MLP: FIM. But I do like your idea!

Well yeah solving the time police’s strangle-hold on reality and whatever’s going on with the twins would also be cool. But like. Consider the Warden doing this (spoilers for Centaurworld btw)

The Time Police's stranglehold on reality reminds me of a Warden/Faythie roleplay I'm doing with a fellow fan, in which at the beginning, Warden originally tells her he doesn't want to be with her, because The Time Police are after him, but Faythie gives no fucks.

Then he falls for her. Hard.

They deserve good things 💖🥺

It's actually Future Warden, but sadly, they can't be together, and he's grappling with the grief of losing her.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa I’m distraught

Unfortunately, I don't think they'll end up together in the RP.

Tragic 🥺

Do you RP?

Usually via discord but I do have a deviantart

So, you do, but not on Tumblr?

I wasn’t aware you COULD

You totally could. I just provided some examples in the DMs.
