April fool's 2021 nonsense

Fic Tag! that's right, I've been writing things here and there for this too!

warnings: aborted genocide route, and a little bit of violence. (the violence is really just one particular instance and i’ve got it tagged but doesn’t hurt to be careful) There is the occasional eye-strain-y aspect and even more occasional minorly moving gifs, but nothing too extreme i think. Body horror in the vein of gaster gets a bit goopy/melty sometimes

there are ut ships i like but i probably won't be doing anything more than just subtle hints, 'cause ships aren't the focus of this story. unless you count platonic family relationships ;D

another note: i’m in school, so posts will be inconsistent. but i will not stop. nothing can stop me. nothing.

asgore, mostly. usually if they got caught, they got escorted to Asgore, or they willingly gave themself up. or they made it all the way to the castle.

one of them had a bad accident in waterfall, and their soul was only found later.

gaster just had really really bad luck

now im thinkin about a battle with Wings if He never got voided. man.

first off, in a pacifist run he’d probably end up avoiding you as much as he could without it being obvious or rude. you’d have to intentionally hunt him down and demand a fight. backtracking once you start talking to alphys, going to sans and papyrus’s house in snowdin or something.

the fight itself would be really wimpy (see: similar to papyrus’s fight before he starts ramping things up) and the first dialogue option you did, out of Any of them, you’d be able to spare him. you see him the most often, after that, and he stops trying to avoid you.

if you kept on TALKing or using items he’d get more and more obviously uncomfortable before he eventually ends the fight himself. if you spared him immediately he’d talk a little bit after the fight, but if he ends it he just leaves without another word

if you used the FIGHT option in a pacifist run, he’d also just immediately end the fight on his own and leave without another word. there’s a 50 percent chance he’d dodge your attack (like sans does) but that effects nothing. if you choose to FIGHT him when his name is yellow, he has a 100 percent chance of dodging it, and you would not see him for the rest of the game. you could still do a full pacifist run, but you don’t see him anywhere after that, save for one of the scenes during the credits, very obviously away from You

if it was any sort of neutral run, he’d be even more scarce, but the fight itself would be relatively the same.

if it was a geno/no mercy run, you wouldn’t see him at all, the whole game, and there’d be no fight.

ohoho! if wings never gets voided, none of the skeletons actually have the ability to teleport! they got that through messing with the fabric of reality haha

you’d mostly encounter him when he is with another monster, save for once or twice in hotland or snowdin, as you just happen to cross paths by chance. if you do befriend him, he’ll hang around alphys’s lab with her
