Sometimes i think, “why can’t i be her?” Then i remember, i am her. For a time in childhood i embodied her, she was a part of my soul. She remains a pioneer of something in me, the OG “pirate” within. In the form of a soldier, sure, but a lone one. A girl with a helmet, a ruler and a sentient broken watch to keep her company, and a will to fight for good. Pac-Bat is so integral to my heart, she’s just inexplicably special and bizarre; not to mention, unfathomably niche.
