 how  can  I  describe  my  emotions  at  this  catastrophe  !!    or  how  delineate  the  wretch  whom  with  such  infinite  pains  &&  care  I  had  endeavoured  to  form  ??    his  l i m b s  were  in  proportion ,   &&  I  had  selected  his  features  as  beautiful.    BEAUTIFUL  !!    GREAT  GOD  !!    his  yellow  skin  scarcely covered  the  work  of  muscles  &&  arteries beneath ;    his  hair  was  of  a  lustrous  black ,    &&  flowing ;    his  teeth  of  a  pearly  whiteness ;   but  these  luxuriances  only  formed  a  more  horrid  contrast  with  his  watery  eyes ,   that  seemed  almost  of  the  same  colour as  the  dun-white  sockets  in  which  they  were  set ,    his  shrivelled  complexion && straight  black  lips.    I  had  desired  it  with  an  ardour  that  far  exceeded  moderation ;   but  now  that  I  had  finished ,   the  beauty  of  the  dream  vanished ,    &&  breathless   HORROR  &&  DISGUST   filled  my  heart.

he   would   be   lying   if   he   said   he   hadn't   thought   the   same.     used   to   being   abandoned    ,    tried   to   be   the   one   to   get   out   first.     SAVE   YOURSELF   THE   PAIN.     they   had   similar   thoughts    ,    it   was   a  game   of   who   would   act   first.     she   won.     jaw   clenched   as   a   single   nod   was   given.                '      if   I   had   any   intention   of   leaving   you    ,    I   would   have   done   it   after   the   first   few   months.      '                once   content   with   his   life   now   back   to   distress.     unsure   of   how   to   feel   or   act.     none   of   his   partners   who   left   him   in   the   past   had   ever   returned    ,    it   was   safe   to   say   he   was   at   a   loss.

while  on  the  topic  of  victor's  eyesight   ,   having  achromatopsia  is  something  he's  never  told  anyone   ,   but  if  someone  was  observant  enough   ,   they  could  catch  on  that  there  is  something  wrong  with  his  vision.    he  is  almost  always  wearing  sunglasses  outside   ,   sometimes  even  indoors.    his  eyes  are  sensitive  to  bright  light  which  does  make  surgery  tricky   ,   but  he  suffers  the  irritation  to  get  the  job  done.    his  attire  is  mostly  dark  suits   ,   white  shirts  and  black  jeans / trousers.    he  doesn't  own  anything  colorful   ,   nor  is  there  much  color  in  his  house.    the  walls  are  painted  black  &&  white   ,   &&  most  of  the  funiture  is  dull.    the  interior  &&  exterior  of  his  house  is  quite  gothic.    it's  of  similar  size  to  jefferson's  house  &&  does  give  off  an  addams  family  vibe.    victor  prefers  that  he  surrounds  himself  with  darker  colors   ,   it  reminds  him  of  his  home  &&  gives  him  a  sense  of  normality.

the  major  difference  between  dr  whale  &&  victor   ,   is  how  they  react  when  it  comes  to  saving  a  life.    dr  whale  will  always  do  everything  he  can  to  save  someones  life.    he's  a  doctor   ,   saving  lives  is  what  he  does  best.    victor  on  the  other  hand   ,   he  could  care  less.    he  isn't  going  to  go  out  of  his  way  to  save  someone.    he  will  gladly  let  someone  die  or  kill  them  himself.    his  primary  focus  has  always  been  on  his  work  as  a  scientist   ,   not  his  work  as  a  doctor.    dr  whale  is  flirty   ,   a  self  obsessed  dick   ,   but  he  is  a  good  person.    he  would  never  inflict  harm  on  another  living  thing   ,   it's  not  who  he  is.    victor  has  killed  before  &&  he  has  no  problem  with  it.    he's  in  the  morally  gray  area  of  the  spectrum.    he  isn't  all  bad  but  he  isn't  all  good  either.    he  can  be  manipulative  to  get  what  he  wants  ( ie. lying to regina )  &&  he  is  good  at  it.    it's  very  difficult  to  catch  victor  out  on  a  lie.    dr  whale  isn't  a  great  liar.    most  of  the  time  he  is  brutally  honest   ,   which  can  get  him  into  trouble  the  majority  of  the  time.

           THAT       was   an   excellent   question.     one   the   surgeon   could   not   answer.     in   truth    ,    he   hadn’t   even   realized   he   had   apologized   till   she   questioned.     a   natural   response.     everything   bad   was  because   of   you.     she   left    ,    surely   he   had   done   something   wrong.     gaze   cast   down.     don’t   say   it   again.
                ‘      I   don’t   know.      ’                a   brief   pause   as   arms   raise   to   fold   ‘cross   scrub   clad   chest.                ‘      why   did   you   come   back    ,    dar ⠀——   emma   ??      ’ 

BECAUSE    I    MISSED    YOU      /      I    LOVE    YOU      /      I    NEED    YOU   ?           the  ability  to  form  a  coherent  sentence  escaped  her .          words  are  a  mess  in  her  mind ,    &      for  a  moment  she  can  only  stand      &      stare      ;      to  take  him  in ,   any  little  note  of  possible  change  in  him      physically .            unfortunately ,    she  had  a  feeling  everything  worth  taking  note  of  was  making  its  mark       mentally .

           from   the   moment   she   stepped   out   the   door    ,    felt   like   hand   wrapped   'round   shattered   heart.     RIPPING   IT   FREE   OF   CHEST   !!     nails   sinking   into   muscle    ,    mind   hooked   on   her   &&   only   her.     it   didn't   come   as   much   of   a   surprise.     he   wasn't   the   type   that   people   settled   down   with.     his   relationship   with   emma   was   the   longest   he'd   been   in.     he'd   argue   she   was   the   first   he   truly   cared   for.     which   made   it   hurt   that   much   more.

           brow   furrows.     was   she   expecting   forgiveness   ??     he   loved   her    ,    he   wanted   to   be   angry.     wanted   to   scream   &&   snap.     but   he   knew   he   wouldn't.     frankenstein   would   forgive   &&   forget   in   a   heartbeat.                '      then   why   did   you   ??      '
