He happily wrapped his arm around her again, smiling down at her before looking up at the sky.

“I’m really glad that you brought me here” she said softly after a minute. “Thank you”

"No need ta thank me. Every girl should get the chance ta look at the stars from the bed of a truck."

His mouth trailed across her skin before moving back up to press his lips against hers once more, breaking away after a few moments. “We should um… get back to lookin’ at the stars, I think.”

“Um. Right” She knew her face was probably bright pink as she squirmed a little to adjust her shirt again and pull her sweater around herself. “That’s what we came here for after all.” She added softly.

"Right," he nodded, moving off of her and sitting back against the truck.

One of his hands was holding himself up over her while the other moved down to the bottom of her shirt, gently pushing it up ever so slightly.

Another shiver ran through her as his fingers pushed at the bottom of her shirt, raising it up slightly. She was glad for the darkness, the only little bit of light being the candles so he couldn’t see how flushed her cheeks were nor the scars that marked the pale skin on her hip right under his fingers.

He pulled away from her lips, gently trailing kisses along her jaw and down her neck.

Her head tilted to the side to give him better access to her neck as a shiver ran down her spine, her hands trailing along his stomach lightly.

One of his hands was holding himself up over her while the other moved down to the bottom of her shirt, gently pushing it up ever so slightly.

“Okay… Just checkin’” he murmured, happily kissing her back.

Slowly she let her arms drop from around his neck, her hands trailing over his shoulders and down his chest.

He pulled away from her lips, gently trailing kisses along her jaw and down her neck.

He smirked against her lips, carefully moving so that they were laying down on the bed of the truck, pulling away briefly. “Is this okay?”

“Yeah…this is okay” She smiled at him, tracing her fingers softly down the side of his face before leaning her head up to capture his lips again.

"Okay... Just checkin'" he murmured, happily kissing her back.

He couldn’t help but grin even wider, gently pulling her back down to kiss her again.

Her arms wrapped tighter around him as she pressed herself closer to him, smiling slightly into the kiss all thoughts of looking at the stars on hold for now.

He smirked against her lips, carefully moving so that they were laying down on the bed of the truck, pulling away briefly. "Is this okay?"

“I haveta say, though. ’m not sure where this sudden burst a confidence came from but I like it.”

“I don’t either” She admitted, blushing a little deeper and shrugging. “Good.” She added, biting her lip a little as she let out a soft giggle.

He couldn't help but grin even wider, gently pulling her back down to kiss her again.

“Can’t say I disagree, either,” he grinned, his hands moving down to her hips.

“Good” She murmured with a soft laugh as she wrapped her arms around his neck, straddling his lap.

"I haveta say, though. 'm not sure where this sudden burst a confidence came from but I like it."

“They might not be. The world might end in the next ten minutes,” he chuckled, grinning up at her.

“Well that’d be pretty unfortunate.” She smirked as she shifted in his lap, running her fingers lightly through his hair. “But I can’t say I’d be too upset if we went out like this” She flushed a little before pressing her lips to his again

"Can't say I disagree, either," he grinned, his hands moving down to her hips.

“We’re supposed to be lookin’ at the stars,” he mumbled against her lips, though he made no effort at fully ending the kiss.

“They’ll be there in a little while” She murmured back as she shifted again until she was in his lap.

"They might not be. The world might end in the next ten minutes," he chuckled, grinning up at her.

Everett’s smile grew wider as she moved, and he hesitated for a moment before deepening the kiss, his hands wrapping around her waist.

A shiver ran down Rosie’s spine as he deepened the kiss, unable to stop the soft sigh from slipping out as she pressed herself closer to him while his hands moved to her waist. Slowly her hands moved up into the back of his hair, holding him close to her

"We're supposed to be lookin' at the stars," he mumbled against her lips, though he made no effort at fully ending the kiss.

“Well, good. ’m glad I could make you happy.”

“I’m glad too” She said softly before hesitantly leaning up and pressing her lips to his.

He smiled into the kiss, pulling her closer.

He glanced down at her, smirking. “What’s that smile for?”

“Nothing.” She shook her head and blushed lightly. “I’m just happy to be here is all.”

"Well, good. 'm glad I could make you happy."

He smiled and wrapped his arms around her, smiling contently.

Rosie traced her fingers lightly over her chest and looked up to study his face for a moment with a smile tugging at her lips

He glanced down at her, smirking. "What's that smile for?"
