the short list of illustrators and artists that i'm really really into right now are

- sheila beckett

- vernon grant

- al parker

- coby whitmore

- jc leyendecker (an absolute mainstay, the most talented illustrator ever imo)

- gustaf tenggren

- earl oliver hurst

- mary blair (i'm trying to teach myself to draw with shapes so i've been looking at a lot of her work)

i also love looking at old photographs, i find them very inspiring.
