The amount of chaos in this fandom right now over something that hasn’t even happened and may not ever happen is just completely unnecessary. We’re allowed to want different things and have different interpretations of the characters. We’re allowed to express our own opinions on our own blogs.
If you don’t like what someone is saying, ignore them. If you disagree with someone so strongly that it’s making you angry, block them. The block feature exists so you can curate your own tumblr experience to be an enjoyable one. But stop anonymously shaming and insulting people for expressing their opinions and stop whining in people’s inboxes about the fact that not everyone shares your perspectives.
Fandom is supposed to be about enjoyment, not hate. So let’s all just take a deep breath and then take a step back. We have no idea what’s actually going to happen in season 6. But whatever happens, I guarantee the fandom experience is going to be a lot less fun for us all if we can’t find a way to be kind to one another.

This, this, a thousand times this.
The beautiful moments in 4x13 are what will stay with me…not the shitshow that was most of s4.
I will happily squee NACE!!!!!!! with you all, but I’m gonna rely on the wonderful fic writers out there to actually round out the show and the characters the way we all deserve. Not the actual writers of the show, because they had their chance and shit the bed.
I am just so goddamn disappointed with this final season of Nancy Drew. Almost every single character is being written as if they don’t have three years of backstory to rely on; it’s almost as if they handed out story ideas to a writers room of people who had never watched the show before and said “Give us a season 4!”
And Jesus fucking Christ, don’t get me started on what they have done with Nace. It’s a mindfuck as to how they managed to destroy this relationship (and these characters) in the span of six episodes.
Let this last season be over already so I can begin to forget it even existed.

AND ANOTHER THING i can buy much easier that nancy "woke up thinking of" tristan if she erased her love for ace. because it literally was like a WEEK ago that they even tried to break the curse, right? in what world is she waking up with another man on her mind right now
This is absolutely brill. But is loving Ace a sin? That’s what I was trying to puzzle out as the writers spent 15 minutes dicking us around after they foreshadowed Nancy being the last sinner.
So…Nancy and some rando are actual soulmates, while Ace finds happiness with a ghost girl. Sure.
Shark? You have been jumped.
