Hey all! I’m going into my busy season at work, we just started our holiday events and I’m already focused on starting my next cosplay for Katsucon, but as soon as I get back more photo shoot photos I’ll try to be sure to post some here!
It’s odd not having any photos on my own camera that I can just share right away, but I also worked with some amazing people and I can’t wait to see what they captured. :)

Metrocon was just yesterday, I can’t believe it, but I ultimately had such a good time despite some downs (just me being my insecure self). Thank you to everyone I saw for hanging out and kind words and just everything!
These are the cosplays I ended up doing for the weekend. I didn’t get really any pictures of these with my own cameras, instead I did shoots with other photographers for once! So once I get some of those pictures back I will share them.
So happy to have been able to go to Metro again, just so sad that it’s over. <3
Metro isn’t for another week and few days, but something tells me I’d forget to post on here for it if I don’t do it now. So! Here’s my lineup for the weekend:
Thursday: no cosplay Friday: Mama Greece- Hetalia Saturday: Yuuri Katsuki (Free Skate outfit)- Yuri on Ice Sunday: Hetaween Belgium (Little Red Riding Hood)- Hetalia
I’m so ready for the convention! But also not ready cosplay wise haha. Nonetheless I’m in an alright spot I think. I probably won’t post anymore progress photos, so hopefully the next ones I’ll have to share will be from the convention! Finally, if you’re going and see me please feel free to say hi. :)

Sorry for the silence guys! I had a bunch of commissions to work through, but I finished making Yurio’s Allegro costume! I love this outfit, I was going to make Agape originally but was struggling to find some net fabric for the top layer. I took progress photos of this which I’ll upload soon! I also couldn’t get hold of gradient spandex, so I went with this kind of flame-like pattern method and did a blend of feathers and rhinestones owo; the zip is hidden at the front behind a bunch of feathers (I didn’t want to ruin the fishnet design at the back by putting a zip there) and the feather collar is actually detachable via clips as I wanted to try make it stick out like the reference :) I need to also braid this wig properly.

Finally have some good cosplay progress to share! Started and finished rhinestoning the biggest detail piece of Yuuri's Free Skate jacket in the last couple of days. Being on vacation makes for good progress. I hope to make some more before heading home!
Getting kind of antsy and want to dive into making my Free Skate suit jacket for Yuuri. I’m so close to being done with figuring out the pattern, I hope to start on the actual jacket soon!

Hi there, I did indeed make it! It was quite a long time ago and I’m bad at explaining things… but I’ll try explaining a bit.
The dress was made with the Vogue pattern V8648, variation C of the pattern. It has the fitted shape, sleeves, and square neckline just like fem!Italy’s dress. It took some altering to fit me better personally, and design wise I combined some pattern pieces together to get rid of extra seams along the mid-section area. I did so so that the only horizontal seam on the midsection is the one connecting the bodice section and the skirt section if that makes any sense. The pockets on top and the tabs on the shoulders and sleeves were all really simple self drafted additions.
The rest of the outfit was pretty simple, the collar is just a completely separate piece (I think this tutorial may be of help with that http://kylie-3sheets.blogspot.com.au/2011/01/collar-tutorial.html? If not I’m sure there are more tutorials on google or youtube). The belts are just belting also connected by velcro, and the wig was an Arda wig, specifically a Jasmine in Warm Light Brown and also a curly clip in Warm Light Brown. Jasmine is a straight wig so I used the hot water method to curl everything but the front bangs. My shoes, gloves, and clip on tie were all bought online.

Ok this isn’t the most beautiful thing, but I wanted to share something and maybe this will give me motivation to continue working on my new YOI cosplay.
I’m doing one of Yuuri’s performance outfits, namely his Free Skate one, so the slicked back hairstyle was necessary. I started with a Marty in black from Arda Wigs (right) and was able to get it to how it looks on the left. Still needs more work, but I’m pretty happy with how far I got for now

I have a new binder that fits and it feels so good! ;u; Also, I am starting to work on cosplay again, so I hope to have some progress to share soon.
This blog has been pretty quiet I know... I still have some projects coming up though. Yuuri’s Free Skate outfit is actually in the plans, just trying to gather all the materials I need for him. And I might do a little bit of a Disney inspired/Disney bound-ish outfit as a side project. There’s just been a lot of hard things going on in my life unfortunately, but I’m hoping to get back into some creative hobby stuff again soon~
So I did a closet cosplay of Prussia the other day. I’m pretty happy with the results! :Dc
