You were one of My chosen, but they stole you from Me. Your golden eyes, your courage, and your loyalty were My blessing. Yet before I could reach you, they declared you "Highborne." You were kept from receiving My gift from the Scythe, your fate irreparably altered by your society's arrogance.
Still, I loved you, and I watched as you grew, both physically and mentally. I tried to reach out, to draw you to Me through the stars - at the very least, thanks to Me, you found a great fondness for them. Yet again though, I was too late. It seems destiny wished to keep you from Me.
I watched the demons slaughter your loved ones. I watched as they tricked you into accepting the Dirk of the Beast, and I wept for the loss of My child. But you... you exceeded My expectations. Against all odds, as soon as you learned the truth, you escaped, untethered from the Legion's chains and the power the Fel gave you.
I sent My avatar to watch over you. You were so afraid, and I was so afraid for you. Through My guidance, you followed the trail of stars, finding food and temporary shelter along your path, until you arrived at Eldre'Thalas. I cloaked you from the demons and led you to a secret room where you could rest, recuperate and, eventually, live.
In spite of what's become of you, you still have My blessing. Know that one day, in the most dire hour of the darkest night, I will protect you once more, and My pack will howl in triumph the name "Perceus."
