hi everyone, happy new year!! sorry for the lack of progress updates, but here’s some art for you
hi guys! this is ash. i wanted to give you all a well deserved update because its been far too long.
so, progress has been slow for me. its always been hard for me to stay motivated and this year has been very hard for me mentally and physically in general. i’ve struggled through creativeblock since last year... and as much as i’d like to get a lot of progress done on this game, it hasn’t been a realistic goal.
i think one of my problems is that i set my expectations for myself too high. i focus so much on overly ambitious artpieces and tiles and writing an extremely complex plot that i often feel overwhelmed. that’s why i haven’t been doing very much work or posting.
so! i’d like to share my plan to get some work done while still saying motivated and not pushing myself too hard. from now on i’m going to work on what i’m comfortable with, at my own pace. i wont make promises i cant keep or set deadlines for myself. hopefully this will help me get more work done, and in turn more posts for me to show you all!
my next goal is to make some updated designs and art for the main characters

yes! i plan on elaborating more on the plot once i have it nailed down. i swear i’m thinking about it a lot i just don’t want to half-ass the story i guess haha. also, i don’t think i’ll ever reveal the more extreme spoilers on this blog. some of those you’ll have to find out for yourself when the game actually releases!

MASAMI’S CHARACTER REVEAL
This is the first character reveal of many that I’m planning on releasing! I know that Masami isn’t new but I would like to make an official character reveal for every important character in the game! With every character reveal, the character page will also be updated.
Masami is the bright and loud protagonist. She loves her friends and family, and is always ready to help them at a moments notice.
Occupation: Part-time Assistant Ice Cream Server at the mall
Likes: loud music, bright colors, pink lemonade
Dislikes: when she can't get her pigtails even (90% of the time), people who underestimate her
