CHAKRAS (are not what you think they are)

Ok, so making the actual post is gonna take time so I'm just gonna say this right now: Chakras are not what you think they are

They are not a Wicaan or Neo-pagan thing. They never have been. Their very concept has been appropriated from Hinduism and Buddhism.

If you think your chakras need to to cleansed, they don't. If you think your chakras are blocked, I can say with surety that they aren't. You cannot "open" your chakras. It's not possible. It's not a matter of difficulty but rather it's about "opening" your chakras ACTUALLY being impossible to do.

The term you're most likely looking for looking for is "energy center"

Just thought I'd mention, chakra literally means "wheel" in Sanskrit.

The Chakras are part of esoteric medieval-era beliefs about physiology and psychic centers that emerged across Ancient Indian traditions. 

The belief was that human life simultaneously exists in two parallel dimensions, one "physical body" (sthula sarira) and other "psychological, emotional, mind, non-physical" it is called the "subtle body" (sukshma sarira). 

This subtle body is energy, while the physical body is mass. The psyche or mind plane corresponds to and interacts with the body plane, and the belief holds that the body and the mind mutually affect each other. The subtle body consists of nadi (energy channels) connected by nodes of psychic energy called chakra.
