A plead for help

To get straight to the point, my father has been diagnosed with cancer and is currently undergoing treatment that will severely impact his immune system. As some of you may know, I work in a heavily populated school in a position that puts me in contact with hundreds if not thousands of students a day. This, obviously, is not optimal for my father’s recovery and I fear bringing home something that will complicate his already delicate condition. Unfortunately, I am not in a position where I can just quit my job.

I do, however, have a Patreon and a Ko-fi. If I could manage to make a couple hundred dollars a month, I would be able to quit my current job and begin working in a work-from-home model on my creative endeavors until I’m able to find other employment.

In 2007 I started Middle School

I had no friends to call my own after being homeschooled by an abusive man

I was ready to end my life

But one thing that kept me going, was the story of a child with a demon locked inside of him, who is dead set on saving all of those around him.

I have been reading Naruto fanfiction since 2008.

I begin writing Naruto fanfiction in 2010.

I have exhausted the archive in fanfiction, AO3, and quizzilla since 2008.

I have read many of finished and unfinished works.

Of every kind of pairing imaginable.

So many ships, and many of them I regret.

But never have I encountered a fanfiction that moved me so deeply other than one.

Fix it fics are my weakness. Has someone who has lived a terrible life, the idea of a happy ending seems unimaginable and yet obtainable.

Never have I encountered one that truly moved me.

Well I may not write for Naruto anymore, I highly recommend, and beg you to read this.

It is deeply moving in ways I had not realized it would move me.

Thank you for a story that gives me an ending that I can be happy with, and a story that hooked me in ways I have not been hooked since I was just a 13-year-old girl, with no friends, no family, and no idea what the future held for me.

You have no idea how much this means to me. Never in a million years would I think my (not so) little story would have anything near this kind of impact on anyone. Thank you for sharing this, and I’m so glad my story could bring you happiness.

The houmongi, with bokashi (gradation) in mysterious blue to grey tones, has malicious crows flying around, some embroidered others woven in urushi (lacquered threads). I like how the upper back one looks like it’s gonna catch the mon/crest in its beak.

The obi is super unusual as all black items are usually mourning gear in kimono fashion, which means meek and subdued with only rinzu (woven pattern like this or this for ex).

Here, what I believe is shusu (satin silk) is fully embroidered in black with autumn plants (kikyo/chinese bellflowers + susuki/pampa grass) and a crow perched upon a tree. Black based shusu obi like this one were once pretty trendy, I’d love to see such a fashion make a come back :D
