honestly tumblr should just remove the reblog button atp bc none of yall mfs like using it anyways. If you enjoy someone’s content, if you enjoy the media you are consuming, REBLOG. I don’t care if you “don’t have any followers” that is not the point of the reblog button. I do not care if reblogging something ruins your blog’s “aesthetic” BULLSHIT. UGHHH I JUST NEED TO GET RHIS OFF MY CHEST.

Every time I come on here I remember why I end up ghosting my blogs. Tumblr is supposed to be meant for INTERACTIONS, like actual interactions ! Hence the reblog and ask options, simply liking is not enough, it does nothing. ALSO it is completely valid for a creator to WANT the attention and notes, they wouldn’t be posting on here otherwise??? The whole point is to reach and build an audience while also promoting your content, which in turn betters it because of the motivation and feedback you receive! On my old writing blog, though I had quite a following, this was still the exact issue. In the end I even tried convincing myself that none of the notes or anything mattered, and I was simply putting out what I enjoyed, but I quickly realized that i was lying to myself and it DID matter. Because why else would I be posting on here????? It has been so sad seeing a lot of my old moots leaving content creation simply because their hard work did not receive the recognition it deserved, which it so easily could have if people just REBLOGGED.

LITERALLYYYYY THIS. Every time I log onto this goddamn platform. I’ve also seen so many of my mutuals (myself included) who have either left tumblr completely or have stopped content creating and it’s sad because if people simply pressed the damn reblog button, it would be 10x more enjoyable to create content and help prevent burnout, because you KNOW people are going to push your creations and properly acknowledge them.

Wow I am MONTHSSS late to answering this. I am so so sorry.

I miss you! And I miss the old days too!! Life has definitely gotten a lot more intense since then :’). We definitely were so much into free! And haikyuu especially and spent so much time theorizing and writing, I genuinely miss it. Though I am not on tumblr much anymore, I still think about it a lot actually, both this blog and my writing blog. It brought me so much joy and though that era had its ups and downs (mostly ups) I am forever grateful for the friends and people it let me get to know. People like you!! More than my blogs, I think about you!! And everyone else!!! And this is cheesy as fuck but I truly believe these connections are everlasting, and because of this I am confident that while maybe not as often as before, we can still continue to talk about anime/manga/fandoms/etc. :)

Did not intend to ramble but, point is, I MISS YOU!
