Hello Tumblr, I’m not dead.
I know I’ve been absent for a really long time, and worried some of you, and I'm deeply sorry for that, but my mental health + a global pandemic did not make a good combo; but I’m back, if you’re willing to take me.
But first of all, I want to take your attention to this little story I posted almost a whole year back, in which I bled my heart and soul for the situation happening in my country. I want you to look at it and remember that this situation has not changed, and that there are still 10 women being murdered each day in my country. I want you to read it and know that my president made a wall around the most important building for our government, in hopes that we would not raid it with marches or protests, because he is more concerned about brick and cement than he is about our lives. I want you to read it and know that we wrote the names of all the women we lost, who were murdered or kidnapped, taken from us, and they were so many that all of their names did not fit in that wall.
Take care of your mental health, and hit the back button if you need to, but I am begging you to share this story with whomever you can, whoever is willing to listen, because we are getting killed off.
I’m back today to the fandom and to a social media I grew to love and that gave me many people I can confidently call my friends, but just like how I was absent for a long time, there might be a day when I do not come back.
