Happy new year everyone! It’s officially 2018 where I live, so let’s answer a couple of the things in my inbox I got recently. 

1. Just gonna continue on. A percentage of my inbox is.. weird like this..

2. I live! Thank you Crow! 

3. What a super good comment! I hope you have a good 2018 too, anon, and please don’t be scared to chat with me. I’m a huge dork that likes D&D and cried once at an athletic dog show because they are all just so good. (and ended up seeing it again a second time in the same day)

4. Thank you! I’m doing pretty well! I know I kind of just.. dropped off of this blog, it was a lot of work to keep up doing a full coloured (sometimes shaded) piece of art every day. I have part-time work now too, and lots of other crafts to do.. I was also getting bored of drawing the same character every day. But, I do want to draw more frequently.. still lots of pokemon, but flight rising dragons, and like maybe my own characters that never get any love..

SO. I wanted to do the thing where the character is standing with their hands up in front of an animated fire background.

But this got made instead.

I feel like its an apt metaphor for the way I’ve been feeling lately. ALSO. The site I was using to make this beautiful gif wouldn’t upload it, so I used another “gif making” program to record this, because I didn’t think it would have the same result on another site, but it ended up being saved as a mp4.. so I converted the mp4 back to a gif through a 3rd site.
