Fool's Gold Sands is Awesome
@dingodoodles has an awesome new podcast in the same world as the one that inspired my Bard/Sorc multiclass, Morgan Lighteye.
(Keep in mind this is from literally four years ago; I've been a silent fan of Fool's Gold for a long time) I even made her in BG3 (am playing with @ispeekrandom, my bestie)
ANYWAY! And because I'm such a big fan I was delighted to see the podcast campaign takes place in a desert biome; I've written homebrew games for YEARS, one of which is about a desert temple with intensive illusion magic. One of the NPCs in my own campaign jumped back into my mind after I started listening to the podcast. I just finished the second episode, and was able to draw my OC/NPC.
Dingo, I seriously doubt you'll read this, but I want you to know that your podcast inspired me to properly draw for the first time in years. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in art history back in 2022 and haven't really created much since. But thank you for giving me the drive and spoons to redraw Nahina Tsir'krah after so long of not drawing.
Nahina is a Githzerai Monk who hides her entire body, face, and hands. She used to be a cleric, but it's kind of hard to be a faithful follower to a god who (through a series of unfortunate events) has essentially 'died'. With his death, Nahina lost access to external magic, and now only has the power of Ki to fight with. But she fights on.

“Okay :(”
He went straight to Acceptance. He didn’t even go through the five stages of grief. He just started at Acceptance.
I can translate for anyone wondering what he’s saying. The dialogue roughly goes something like
“Hopefully the owner of the car behind me will next time consider if-oh shit. Okay.”
thanks for the context omg

Evolution is a fascinating field of study.
Can you imagine what cathedrals would have been like if the medievals had access to neon lighting?
This is the quote I had in mind when making this post.
Some Vietnamese churches give a glimpse of what it might’ve been like.
For all the people who immediately went “Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo + Juliet” in the notes, you are absolutely correct.
