it took 6 whopping years for blizz to make a character that is There To Trap Me Specifically but eventually they managed to figure it out. the moment i laid eyes on him for the first time, i knew i will be instalocking him for at least the next 100 hours, no matter what he plays like, but actually i genuinely like playing him. it's a little weird like he feels both a little under-and overpowered at the same time somehow but in the bigger scheme of the disastrous state of balance he gets by. Love it when he says its shambalin time and then he shambals all over the enemy team.
idk what the callout for his abilities is becoming but on the day the character came out, i started a joke that the vortex is the bowl for the cereal of the primary fire (which makes it funnier, or at least thematically fitting when the kiriko main i almost always duo with is bringing the "milk") and it kind of caught on in my circle in the form of yelling CEREAL!!!!!!!!!! when you are unwittingly standing in a danger zone. and by you i mean mostly me who is the most prone to Death By Cereal. Why is there always cereal on the ground?! Who put that there
this is probably the proudest i have ever been of drawing something, because it worked out so well - and just exactly as i hoped! - in spite of the great amount of moving parts and me not knowing pretty much anything about animation in general. secretly i always wanted to become an animator but was intimidated by the complexity of it and how much work it would be. Maybe it's not that complex after all. i mean, it is. but i think there are only so many times that you can tell yourself "well i don't know how to animate, but this was way more complex than the previous thing that i tried and yet i still worked it out" before you are just.... an animator.
if i had a nickel for every secret santa that i joined this year that gave me a sea themed prompt... at the very least it gave me a chance to master my light filtering through water technique.
A few years back i was drawing a ton of pics in this semi-cutout style, which i had completely forgotten about until i found a drawing in a folder. I'm definitely bringing this back in 2023
When I joined the secret santa i wanted to request a drawing of two of my OCs but they are so new that i didn't even have references yet. The mortifying ordeal of having to produce art of your own oc before you can show them to people 😬 The story that they are in has been living in my head rent free for a couple of months now but still in a barely shaped, early stage. I'm already certain though that these two will be in it.
Trin (he) and Ulvem (pronoun preference unknown, seemingly have accepted 'they') are two of the four members of a "heart of gold, dumb of ass" heist crew. Trin is a former lone wanderer, now professional lockpicker and craftsman, and Ulvem is a sentient pocket dimension ("Void Person"). Out of the four the two of them are the closest and they are technically inseparable. I am happy to assure you that they are also in love with each other... though sadly this manifests only in Mutual Pining atm due to a tragic series of miscommunications.

SHOP UPDATE ❄️December 2022❄️
This is the last shop update for the year! It's technically not a Halloween update... I was away for the Halloween season (for a wonderful reason cause I could finally visit my family for the first time in years 😊) but I managed to finish a few projects, which I hope you guys will enjoy. 🎃

The star of the update is a project that I have been working on for a very long time - Chameleon pigment jewelry!!! 😱 What makes these special is that they look like a different color depending on what angle you are looking at them. They are also metallic, and have a sparkly or satin sheen. There are 17(!) color variations, which are named after mythological elements, most commonly trickster figures or objects associated with them.
At the moment, they are available in two shapes - the Snearrings, and a set of witchcraft themed charms that I decided to collectively call "Alchemist" (because of the special metal effect. you know.) Potion, crystal, and so on.
Let me tell you, I have been struggling with these photos, because since I came home it's been so dark where I live that it's literally too dark to take pictures even during the daytime. 😬 But anyway.
There are two glow in the dark additions to the shop. One of them is the same "Alchemist" shape that I use for the chameleon pigments as well. At your behest I can paint the line art for you in black and white to make it more prominent. I personally think the black one is the most successful and easy to see, but I thought the white one looked really good with certain color combos so I left that in as an option.
The second set are these tarot themed charms, which I made into pendants because I find them a bit too unwieldy and heavy as earrings, but if you think I'm baby and you'd like to prove me wrong, then you can always contact me for a custom order. (Conversely, the snearrings and alchemist charms are all listed as earrings, but if you'd like a pendant shaped like that, all you have to do is let me know!)
The tarot pendants are a little bit pricier, because I both hand-paint and dome them, taking some extra work and materials.
I made two high effort, unique pairs of earrings - as it should be obvious - with a vampire theme in mind. The first, left one, is called "Cupid's Casualty" because of the heart and arrow themes, but it has a classic, vanilla, Catholic aesthetic energy that vampire media usually does. The other one "Bloodstained Glory" is more like an American Southern Gothic one, pairing the sexy dress with the cowboy hat/boots and rock'n'roll vibes. 🩸
Lastly, this is technically not a new product, but I thought I would mention that a friend of mine inspired me to look into earring options for people who don't have pierced ears, and I'm happy to say that I found some! Basically any drop earring in my shop can be transformed into a clip-on earring, which I will gladly exchange for you at no extra cost. The clips that I ordered look like this:

I challenged myself to paint at least one big personal art piece every month this year, and this was the one for January. It was definitely not about the virus originally, but man, it really does look like a whole different picture during the first week of quarantine doesn’t it? If it must be so, let it be a reminder that this is not going to last forever. Just wash your hands, don’t panic hoard the toilet paper, be good to each other in everyone’s time of need, and we will all make it out of this, together!

🌈PRIDE SHOP UPDATE 🌈JUNE 2022
Pride is always a special time and usually ends up the second biggest shop update of the year. This year I’m bringing you five new and highly customizable trinkets, which along with the old goodies from last year make 12 beautiful items that you can ornament yourself with this Pride Month.
All Pride items are -15% off until July 15th, and will come with a tiny Pride themed gift as a treat 🥰
Out of everything that I have made, this was the largest project, several weeks if not months in the making. I really went out of my way to make these as customizable as possible. The coloring can be transparent, opaque or shimmery. You can also optionally spice up the pride flag pendant with a special effect that will make it absolutely glamorous. ✨
Once the colors are done, you’ll also have a ton of freedom picking up the format your custom charm will end up in. Earrings are a given, and since I get requests for earrings with two different flags surprisingly often that is now an included option. There are absolutely boisterous necklaces if you like em big and chunky, as well as more modest pendant necklaces and keychains who are not so much of a maximalist as I am. Besides the trusty jewelry formats you can also request a dangle charm which was made for particularly those in mind who feel like jewelry is too gendered for them. These dangles can be basically clasped onto anything and bring you a little extra joy wherever you keep it with you.
I thought that the ice cream shape would be perfect in the spirit of summer but you should keep in mind that these types of charms can be made in almost any other shape that you see in my store, so don’t be shy to contact me with a custom order if that is what you’d like! 🥰
As I was making the ice creams, so did some new snearrings with special effects come to be on the side. They all include some kind of unique special effect, and once they are out, that will be it! So if you like them, grab yourself some while the supplies last 😉
The love of my life is actually a big fan of choker necklaces and she inspired me to venture into this area. The specialty of these chokers is an optional holographic effect that gets embedded into the resin. For starters I picked four effects that I thought were the prettiest and were all clearly distinguishable from each other, but if buyers like them, there may be many more in the future.
The bezel pendant collection has increased with these ice cream shaped pendants. As you can see that they are clearly tiered and sectioned, I personally recommend matching your flag with an ice cream according to how many colors there are (for example, 4 layers for 4 flag stripes) but whichever shape is your favourite, I can make do.
And last but not least, a simpler creation that I thought would be the perfect way to unite Pride month with summer vibes and joy… you’ve seen those colorful bracelets for sale at your nearest beach, right? Now, this is the same thing, but it’s all hand strung by me, and comes in your Pride flag of choice! Necklaces are also available, and you can have them in a set if you want to match.
