Hey German Study Buddies,
I think watching German youtube for the past year or so has allowed my German to improve so much. Adopting the German colloquialisms and listening to the fluency and grammar structures in the videos has really helped me so so much! For anybody learning a language: youtube is the best!
Not only is it fun to watch the many funny videos or hauls (yes…I have obsession with clothing hauls), but also you can learn so much by just continually listening to the German. Anyway, it took me a while to find these German youtubers so I thought I would share them in one big master post here:
PS: if you know any other good German youtubers let me know and I’ll add to the list! :) PPS: I put a little heart next to my favourite ones x

💫 Studying statistics vocabulary in german 💫
Guess who’s back on tumblr? After opening my studygram account last week I thought it would be a nice idea to continue my studyblr journey!
I started the 5th semester of my degree in chinese literature, history, language and translation and it’s getting hard tbh but really love what I’m studying!
hello !! ok so today i want to share some of the things i’ve learnt in my years of being a languages student, particularly regarding vocab & grammar. i personally love learning languages and there are many obvious benefits, communication being one of the fundamental ones.
tbh vocab and grammar are probably the backbones of any language - they play a huge part in developing your translation, reading, writing, speaking and listening skills.
pt i: vocab
pt ii: grammar
pt iii: general tips / links
remember: learning a language is hard. adapting your brain to understand a whole new set of words and rules is hard. it’s supposed to be hard. but it’s ok to make mistakes. it’s ok. you got this. and in the end, it’s so rewarding - knowing another language is a skill you’ll have for life. good luck + i hope this was useful !

02.06.20 / i’m trying to take care of myself today by appreciating little moments of quiet: reading, organizing my binder, enjoying a cup of matcha. the world is scary at the moment but please remember to take care of yourself too. ♡
11.22.20 ♡ 95/100 days of productivity Haven’t been here in a while and now finals szn is here! Can’t believe first semester of pharmacy school is almost over even though I’ve been looking forward to this ever since school started lol. We still have winter classes though so technically we don’t really end til a month later. Pharmacy school has been exhausting and I can’t wait to relax for one (1) day before classes start again. Good luck with everyone’s finals! 🍀

hi there everyone! i got coffee this morning with a friend. my favorite cafe just closed their indoor seating unfortunately so we sat outside in the 30 degree weather 😢
i’m home for the rest of the day working on my final projects and reviewing for my exams! i hope you all are staying healthy and happy! remember to drink plenty of water !!
What is your favorite thing about winter?
My absolute favorite thing is the snow, I’m so glad snow came early this year. I also adore the holiday atmosphere and aesthetic. The combination of red and white decoration mixed in with plaid and flannel textures. Seeing all of the Christmas decoration in malls and downtown. Having a cozy day indoors by snuggling up with hot chocolate and a good book near the fireplace as the snow falls outside.
What is your least favorite thing about winter?
I hate it when it’s cold outside but there no snow on the ground, what’s the point of that. And when the wind gust is so high that it takes all of my energy to reach my car.
