.:An Unexpected Encounter:.

The amount of pure joy radiating from the other was almost too much for him– he’d never seen someone so happy in his life! He couldn’t help but giggle a bit at their excitement. He stood up from where he sat, and watched the other search through their bag.
When he held out the gem, Papyrus looked at it for a moment. He knelt down so he could get a better look– he had no idea you could find stuff like that around here! “Woah! That’s amazing, Kip!” He exclaimed, “where on earth did you find that?? I’ve lived here my whole life and never once have seen anything like this!”

Kip giggled and smiled brightly as he reached up to hand the skeleton the gem, “I found this when I was looking around and found a little secret cave! I couldn’t help but go and investigate!” He squeaked and his tail wagged around happily.

“I can show it too you if you’d like!” He smiled even brighter… hopped a little in excitement.

He was always excited to show others where he finds his little trinkets and treasures. Plus going on adventures with others is always so fun! He looks up at the skeleton, tail wagging happily behind him as he waits for an answer… though it looked like he was going to grab Papyrus’s hand right there and now and take them to this cave. excited little cabbit child.

He took the gem as it was handed to him and examined it. It definitely had a bit of weight to it–meaning it was a good find! He looked back to the other,

“A secret cave you say?” He questioned, getting a little curious himself. He’d seen, what he thought was, every nook and cranny there was–he was shocked to hear that he had missed an entire cave! He nodded to the other happily, standing back up.

“Sure! I’d love to check it out!” He replied with a smile.

Kip practically jumped with excitement as the other accepted his offer to take them to the small cave where he found the cool gems!

“Okay, it’s this way!” Kip squeaked and reached over to take the skeleton’s hand and pull them along to the way of where the cave was located in the forest… passing a few of the puzzles they made until his stopped right near the first sentry station… looking around the area as he tries to remember where he last saw the entrance to the cave, “I’m pretty sure it’s around here somewhere…” He squeaks softly to himself, his tail flicked around a bit behind him as his ears twitch around on the top of his head.

He could feel the child's joy radiating off of him as they took his hand. He kind of expected to be taken to an unfamiliar area, although his surroundings stayed familiar, even after the child found the general location of the cave.

"It's here? By the station?" He asked aloud, kind of shocked. All the time he spent here and he never noticed anything out of place like a cave.

As they entered the small kitchen area, he began looking around the counters for the extra pair, with no luck. He stood there a moment, placing his hand on his chin.

“Now where did I put them…” he said to himself. He shuffled through a few drawers and a couple of cabinets. Just as he was about to give up and search elsewhere, he found them in the back of one of the cabinets.

“Aha! Here they are–” he said cheerfully, handing them to the child. “They…might be a little big now that I’m looking at them.

Well as Papyrus had said, the gloves were indeed too big for the small human however that did nigh dampen his flames of determination. He equipped them proudly and confidently spoke out. “What do you want me to do next? I’m prepared for anything!”

He gave a small giggle at his excitement. It almost reminded him of undyne, but less...destructive.

"Well," he said, pulling out a mixing bowl, "we need to gather the ingredients! According to this recipe-" he looked around and spotted the cook book, picking it up, "we first need butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract!" He pointed towards the fridge,

"Most of those can be found in there!" He smiled, the sugar is right here!" He opened the cabinet in from of him, pulling out the bag of sugar.

"Papyrus! If you had lips, would you kiss me?" -Juliet (twosides--samecoin)

He blinked at the question, as it had caught him off guard.

“Well that’s a tough question-” he rubbed the back of his head, “I mean first of all you’d have to be older-”

“But even then I don’t even know. I guess if you wanted to?”

PSA ABOUT UT COMMUNITY

I just woke up, and remembered something… thanks to @underswappapy I remembered about an important thing about this fandom.

Not everyone in the undertale roleplaying community is a good person. That’s a fact. Some of them even  enjoy hurting others…

And that’s preciseley what I THINK IT’S SO BAD.

If you are in this fandom, you sure had to play the game, or at the very least whatch some video! Undertale, teaches a few things about morals, about pain, about despair, hopes and dreams!

It taught us that every monster we find… is a monster in problems. I would talk about Sans, but that case is already over used. I will talk… about the rest of the canon characters of this story.

Let’s… start with Papyrus. Papyrus is a loser. Yes, that cinnamon roll everyone cherishes and love, is a poor loser who has no friends and no one but his brother and Undyne cares for him. Such is the extent of this, that he enveloped himself into a narcissistic personality to be able to  withstand that rejection everyday. When you spare Papyrus, you make him get away from that personality, from that enclosure… and says what he really feels, what he had bottled up all this years.

And then….you gain a friend that calls you, and tells you silly stuff everyday. You saved a life, not only sparing them in a game, but you… saved a life that was lost into a swirl of sadness and loneliness.

How great does it sound, right?

Undyne, is a racist. But not a person that makes silly jokes, no. A total, racist. She thoroughly hates humans to the point of despise, without even knowing them.

We…. help her, yes. We help her too… she learns from us that not every human is bad, that there is other way, that killing is not the only way. We taught her that.

Alphys? Depression, suicide attemps, loneliness, envy, socially inepted, regret, fear,… from my point of view, Alphys is the one with the most problems… in many routes she kills herslf, goddammit! just imagine how… despaired one must be to do that!!!!!

And what about Mettaton? Mettaton has that personality that… well, I don’t knnow how to describe it. He is egocentric, but he DESERVES being egocentric. He risked a lot to have that body, you know? I think that you taught him that he is not the strongest, that he can rely on others, that he SHOULD rely on others. Because I i’m not mistaken… Alphys says that she knows once she finishes mettaton’s body, Metta will stop talking with her definitely. So… you taught him he NEEDS others.

And Toriel… what about Toriel? She is a tutorial, the dead that less affects how the game proceeds… how sad, isn’t it…? WRONG. Toriel is the most important of this game. She shows you love, when you were being taught about LOVE. She told you that you didn’t need to hurt people, she taught you that… we deserved love, that everyone deserves a hug, that everyone deserves an oportunity, that every fucking one… can be alone, sad, afraid or depressed.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE…

Don’t hurt anybody… don’t… we all suffer, we all bleed… we all cry… we all might need help.

Because if today you are a dick with people… people won’t be there with you.

YOU CAN BE EITHER THE ONE THAT BREAKS THEIR BARRIERS, OR THE ONE THAT CRUSHES THEIR LIFES.

“Well, it’s very nice to meet you too, Kip!” he said as the other held his paw out to him. He took hit gently between his index finder and thumb–it was so small! He had never met someone with such small hands in his life.
“Do you live around here, Kip?” he questioned the other, “I’ve never seen you around before.”

The small bunny giggled as the other held his head like they did. As the other asked him a question, he was unsure of how to answer it, but then again it was very simple.

Image

“Oh! Why I live around here… in Snowdin!” He squeaked and smiled brightly, he wasn’t really expecting to say it like that, he quickly started to think of a way to fix his mistake. “Well… I haven’t seen you around… I guess we never ran into each other before…” He panicked and flailed his arms a bit.

He noticed the other panic a bit, which confused him, though he smiled and nodded to the other in agreement.

“Yes, probably. I am out of town quite a bit, it wouldn’t surprise me.” he chuckled. “There’s actually a lot of people I’ve only recently met–but that’s because they’re usually in Grillby’s.

Kip let out an internal sigh of relief as the other seemed to understand what he was saying. He then smiled and nodded in return. “Yeah… heh…” He giggled a bit, still rubbing the back of his head.

He then looked at them with a blank-like look as they spoke. They were true… the past few times he went to visit Snowdin, there seemed to be more and more people. Either visiting or deciding to live there. He looked up at them with a smile, “Well, it’s always nice to meet new people, right?”

He continued to mess with the snow beneath his feet. The sound it made was interesting to him for whatever reason.

“Oh yes definitely!” He say with a nod or two. “Meeting new people is always fun–especially when they become your friend!” He exclaimed with a smile.

Kip’s ears seemed to twitch around in a curious matter as the other would play around with their feet feet in the snow, it made him giggled a little bit.

He turned to look up at Papyrus with a bright smile, nodding a little bit himself, “Yeah!” His ears then perked up straight and he smiled a bit brighter, “Hey! Do you want to join me on one of my adventures?” He squeaked, hopping off his seat and his tail wagged around happily behind him.

He blinked at the other and then gave a big smile. That sounded like loads of fun! He nodded, standing up.

“I’d love to go with you!” He beamed, “that sounds amazing~!” He said with a laugh.

Kip squeaked, smiling brightly as he hopped off of the rock he was sitting and jumped around in joy. “Yay!” He squeaked, his tail wagging around in excitement, “There’s so many cool stuff I’m sure we can find around here!” He started to dig into his bag, searching for something, when he found it… he squeaked and grabbed it out with his tiny paws.

“Stuff like this!” He showed the other what he grabbed out, they were small, tiny sparkling gems. Each of them a different color and really unique compared to each other.

The amount of pure joy radiating from the other was almost too much for him-- he'd never seen someone so happy in his life! He couldn't help but giggle a bit at their excitement. He stood up from where he sat, and watched the other search through their bag.

When he held out the gem, Papyrus looked at it for a moment. He knelt down so he could get a better look-- he had no idea you could find stuff like that around here! "Woah! That's amazing, Kip!" He exclaimed, "where on earth did you find that?? I've lived here my whole life and never once have seen anything like this!"

Personally, Papyrus did feel that it was a bit selfish, yes, but there wasn’t much he could do about that. He couldn’t make the choice for his friend, even though part of him did want to. As he was just about to answer his question, Juliet’s phone buzzed, and as they read the message he received, Papyrus waited patiently.

During this moment or two of silence, he started trying to think why Chara would act the way he does. Of course his conclusions are usually wrong but he does try–knowing why someone does what they do always helps in such situations.

Suddenly his train of thought was broken by the other as they began crying once more. His reaction was to offer another hug and quietly comfort him as he cried. He really did hope this whole thing would be resolved well– crying this much can’t possibly be good for a person. But he knew it would take a lot of time.

The boy spoke through his tears, trembling again. As he was embraced, he returned the gesture tightly.

“I’m sorry for causing you this much trouble…it really isn’t your burden to carry…but if I was alone to figure things out…it wouldn’t end well. I’d understand if you want me to leave…he texted to find out where I am anyway and if I don’t answer soon, he’ll most likely come look for me…”

The boy returned to his shielded position, hugging his knees insecurely. “..I don’t know what to text back…”

“Oh no, you aren’t causing me any kind of trouble.” he assured the other. “I’m always happy to help you, even with stuff like this. This isn’t something you should have to handle alone.”

As the other shifted back to their original position, he thought a moment, then gave a smile.

“Well, you can tell him you ran into me on your walk maybe?” he suggested. “Then I invited you to have something to eat!”

Though he wasn’t really fond of lying, he knew sometimes it was necessary, and this was one of those times. “And, just in case he wants proof, I could pop something in the oven–I’m sure something sweet would cheer you up a little!”

After hearing those words, Frisk felt his heart lift a little. Comforted. A small smile working its way onto his petite lips. He raised the phone from his chest and began texting:

‘Don’t worry, I’m fine. I just ran into Papyrus on my walk. Now I’m at his house and we’re gonna eat something. If there’s any chocolate, I’ll be sure to bring some back for you~ xx

-Juliet.’

Sitting himself up in his seat, a dainty hand rose to lightly tug on the boney buddy’s battle body as to get his attention. “Do you…have any chocolate?”

Seeing his smile brought him quite a bit of joy. Sure, maybe the issue at hand hasn’t been solved, but it has been calmed for the moment, to give the other a little break.

He waited as he typed with excitement on his phone–he could feel the positive shift in his mood, and it make him chuckle a bit.

As Juliet tugged his clothes he looked to him and gave a smile. “Oh! I do believe so- I can probably actually make some brownies!” He replied. “Is that alright?”

Small mumbles came from the small human. “That’s perfect thanks…b-but can I help you? I want to bring some back for him as thanks for the bunny pillow he ordered for me.” A faint blush graced his tan cheeks as he spoke. A whisper floated out once petite hands held his face as he became slightly flustered. “Still can’t believe he got it for me…”

Thankfully, the mess of emotions were finally dying down and he was able to feel again. His flames of determination were lit again. To finalise his exit from his shell, he stood up holding a strong stash with a smile that appeared as though it could conquer anything. Though temporary, he did feel better but only just— the rest was merely a façade to aid him out of his depression.

“The only way to stop a trapped person from feeling trapped is to make them love where they are right now.”

Though sounding thoroughly wrong through his words, his heart was in the right place with good sentiments. He spoke with confidence and faced Papyrus.

“Let me help you friendo.”

He gave a laugh before he replied, "Of course you can! Baking the goods is always just as fun as eating them, after all~" before standing up from his sofa. He chuckled softly at the other. "Well, that was mighty sweet of him!" He said. He supposed maybe even the worst relationships have their good moments. And for that he was a little glad.

The statement the other made sounded odd to him, but he said nothing, as he didn't want to ruin his good mood. He smiled and nodded. "That's right!"

He held out his hand to him, "Come on, I think there's an extra pair of oven mitts somewhere-"
