Of course that the people that loved their loved ones are going to cuddle her and tell that she is just a little kid when she had no reason at all for messing with Bruce Banner’s head (a man that never did harm to her). Yeah, they are totally wrong and Wanda is a hero and Bruce must get over it and protect her. 

PS: Guys, look at the notes of this gifset, not a single Wanda stan defending her here. 

She’s not even attempting to apologize. “I know you’re angry” is something people say right before they “but *here’s why it doesn’t matter/you should get over it*”

“I know you’re angry” but….

It’s not only a non apology, she’s not even taking ownership of what she did. She could have said “I know I made you angry” or “I know I hurt you”. Neither are apologies but they are acknowledgement that she did something wrong. 

I think her choice of language here is very telling. I think she doesn’t think she did anything wrong aside from teaming up with Ultron. The Avengers were her enemies from her point of view so what she did to them was justified. Which is absolutely disgusting but I guess ownership of her bad decisions doesn’t line up with the victim narrative she’s crafted for herself. 

“I know you’re angry” puts it all on Bruce - “I know you have an issue with what happened” like it’s his flipping problem. 

God I hate MCU Wanda so much.

P.S. - I’m wondering if Wanda forcing the Hulk out causing death and destruction in Johannesburg and it being swept aside as well as Romanoff pushing him off a cliff are contributing factors to the Hulk’s rage he used in the area in Thor Ragnarok? 

I mean, if I were Bruce and my teammates glossed over what Wanda did to me to accept her on our side and my romantic interest told me they adored me, kissed me, then shoved me off a cliff saying they needed my hated alter ego I’d want to vent some of that rage in gladiatorial combat as well. 

Not saying Bruce allowed himself be used as a competitor, I’m just saying the rage wasn’t too hard to reach for and he may be inclined to let some of it out for a change. 

In AOU it even says that people are calling for the person responsible for the attack. Bruce looks horrified by what he’s done. But he’s not the person behind the attack, no one should be calling him out. It’s Wanda who needs to face up for what she did.
