Best friends
We just took in 2/3 of a goldfish. With all of the missing eyes and amputees we have taken on lately we are changing the name of ACS to "Part of a Pet Rescue."
More seriously, this little guy has either a congenital defect or injury resulting in no tail. He is teeny tiny and very thin, with a touch of a bacterial infection to boot, so we are not sure if he will make it - but we will give him our best shot!
Can you identify them all without looking at the article? If not, no worries: you can find out all about these South American cichlids in the latest Aquariadise post ⬇
Two things to note
1. you can see Spore’s collapsed mouth properly here when she has it open (the right side, our left). It hasn’t stopped her from industrial strength vacuuming up all the food she can possibly ingest at once
2. look at Remy have you ever SEEN a boy more in love with his broccoli look at that PURE ADORATION

New article on Aquariadise: the ugly truth about Betta sororities.

That’s why I teamed up with resident Betta expert @iantojonesthebetta to tell the ugly truth about Betta sororities and why female Betta fish should be kept alone just like males.

Well, I’m tryna help a bit, a step towards educating people I guess, hopefully this can help first time keepers with selecting proper equipment & fish.
