Will You Take This Dance?

This is my piece for @okolnir​ Fan Art contest! I’ve always wanted to draw these two, heck, even the others and now I’ve finally got around to do it. I love these two soo much and its all thanks to the amazing artist, Shilin! 

I put a lot of effort into this piece. It’s probably one of the best painting I’ve done this year.

It took rougly ~15hrs during the course of ~9 days.

Shilin, I hope you like this piece not just for the contest but just by fan art in general. You are my favourite artist in the world and in my opinion, the best artist in the world. You’re a huge inspiration to me and I look forward to how Carciphona turns out.

The Witches of the Sanctuary.

The Witches of the Sanctuary, a Sanctuary run by Ivy (Founder) and Sully (Co-Founder) and is maintained by the other Witches. The Sanctuary is for Witches who have been cast out of society and have no where to go. These Witches live in peace at the Sanctuary, Practising their Witchcraft. Everyone works together, there is no currency. Just love and affection. The High Witches and Master Witches teach younger Witches on Witchcraft and other subjects. Sometimes Ivy, The Grand Master Witch teaches a class. Everyone looks up to Ivy, as they see her as a Saviour. A God. Their Queen. They will do anything for her even if it costs them their lives. They live for her and her only. Not by requirement, but by their own decision. She once saved them, showed them a light that shined brighter than the Heavens.

Allow me to introduce some of them and their roles: August: A Master Witch who specialises in Scythes. The Fire Witch: The Head Chef and Head Council  The Nurse: A Doctor who practises medicine and maintains the Witches Health. The Maid: A Water Witch who handles the washing and general maintenance. The Technician: A Witch who creates new gadgets. The Tailor: A Witch who is in charge of everyone's clothing.

These Witches are the results of WitchTober. It was fun to do and a huge challenge creating new and interesting Witches everyday of October.

With that being said, These are current Witches of The Sanctuary. There is definitely more to come.

WitchTober BONUS: Ivy.

Ivy, The Grand Master Witch and Founder of the Sanctuary. Ivy is the Witch of all Witches. Witches either love her or fear her. The World sees Ivy as a global threat and want to eradicate her. At the Sanctuary she looks after all the Witches by providing them a home. The Witches of the Sanctuary all want to repay Ivy for what she have done for them and will do anything for her. The Witches refer to Ivy as “The Queen” or “their Lady”. Ivy has her eyes set on Lincoln and will do anything to win him.

WitchTober BONUS: Sully.

Sully, The Witch of Spells, a Master Witch and the Co-Founder of the Sanctuary. Shes a very gloomy Witch who spends most of her days experimenting with potions and spells. She has little care for herself and most things like her appearance or what people say about her. Her blunt nature makes her hard to impress, the Young Witches always try not disappoint her and to get Sullys approval. She likes messing around with toxic and poisonous things.

WitchTober 31: Witch of Dragons.

The Witch of Dragons, the Queen of Dragons that lives in the Sanctuary. Once served The Empire but now she spends her day sleeping at the Sanctuary. She sometimes practises Witchcraft but she mostly takes care of dragons. She may look young but she is thousands of years old.

WitchTober 30: Witch of Theatre.

The Witch of Theatre, a Dancer and Singer at the Sanctuary. She is very famous for her incredible dancing and voice. She is extremely shy so its hard for her to perform in front of new people. The Witches love her and support her art in every way. She also represents the Evening Shows and teaches dancing and singing.

WitchTober 29: Witch of Gemstones. 

The Witch of Gemstones, a Jeweller at the Sanctuary. She loves making jewellery with enchantments. She has the ability to speed the process of crystals and gems. She can also sense where gems are in the earth. Her Favourite gem are Diamonds.

WitchTober 28: Witch of Chi.

The Witch of Chi, a practitioner at the Sanctuary. She studies medicine and does massages for the other Witches. She is well trained in martial arts, particularly in Tai Chi. She also knows others like Taekwondo. She wears an eye patch on her left eye to hide her Chi eye. Her Chi eye allows her to see somebodies Chi flow inside them. 

WitchTober 27: Witch of Explosions.

The Witch of Explosions, a Junior at the Sanctuary. She specialises in explosions and can create them out of thin air. She is hot headed and snaps easily which results to small pops around her fists. Her explosions can cause lots of damage but it doesn’t effect her.

WitchTober 26: Witch of Electricity.

The Witch of Electricity, a Sous Chef at the Sanctuary. She assist the Fire Witch in the cooking meals. She also cooks the meals when the Fire Witch is busy. She is very strict and can be very blunt in her critiques. She takes pride in her cooking and will always strive for perfection. She is also very skilled in Knives.

WitchTober 25: Witch of Psychology.

The Witch of Psychology, a psychologist at the Sanctuary. She mostly studies about the mind but she also assist in interrogations. Sometimes unwanted guest get too deep into their home. She can get into anyone's mind and read it. No one can lie to her, she can tell if you are.

WitchTober 24: Witch of Illusions.

The Witch of Illusions, mostly referred to the Cat Witch for her cat ears. She is in charge of creating illusions around the sanctuary to keep out unwanted guests. She is quite distant from the other witches and likes to be alone for most of the time. She does get a long with them.

WitchTober 23: Witch of Familiars.

The Witch of Familiars, a animal tamer at the Sanctuary. She is in charge of organising Familiars for the Witches. She raises all types of animals: Cats, Birds, Snakes and other weird creatures. It almost seems like she can speak to animals.

WitchTober 22: Witch of Art.

The Witch of Art, a Artisan at the Sanctuary. She is in charge of art and crafting. She can paint and craft decorative things. She loves painting portraits of the other witches. She can always be seen with paint or glue on her hands. 

WitchTober 21: Witch of Fibres.

The Witch of Fibres, a tailor at the sanctuary. She is in charge of everyones clothing. She’s loves fashion but her clothing must follow the guidelines of the Head Witch. Although, they both have similar taste in fashion. She knows her art and does it well. She will do everything to satisfy her friends. Her eyes change colour depend what colour is her hair.

WitchTober 20: Witch of Metal.

The Witch of Metal, a Blacksmith at the Sanctuary. She’s in charge of creating weapons, support beams and other metal items. She mostly stays in her forging room, hammering hot metal.
