I was playing Minecraft and my friend confessed she had a serial killer character in The Sims who would trap other sims inside walls.

in a perfect world we get more than 5 seconds of bones’ pain in stid 

and he gets the appreciation he deserves 

It was definitely not enough to fully appreciate Bones’ loss. He was Jim’s friend for how many years at this point?

I really wish they showed more of bones and the stress he was going through as he formulated the cure! Can you imagine what he went through!

First he has the heartbreak of losing his closest friend, then followed by immense stress and anxiety. Not only would he have those closest to Jim watching him like a hawk but Starfleet and any media as well! He would be trying to deal with everyone elses emotional turmoil while struggling to remain composed himself, but he does it anyway because Jim needs him to be strong godammit!

Long nights spent nursing day old cold cups of coffee as he stares at the same results from earlier in the afternoon. Another dead end. Sometimes Leonard felt he was losing ground not gaining it.

But despite every knock back and ethical complication, Leonard never gives up.

One day a nurse approaches him, another pad filled with useless results in her hands. A soft apologetic smile filling her face as she places it lightly on his cluttered desk.

“How do you do it?” She asks with genuine intrigue.

Leonard’s eyes flicker across to Jim’s prone figure through the glass window, his brother not bound by blood lying helpless in a hospital bed; the one place he never wanted to be.

Meeting her gaze, Leonard sighed heavily, Jim’s familiar catchphrase coming to mind.

“I don’t believe in no win scenarios.”

Just found out moose can dive as deep as 20 feet (6m) for aquatic vegetation. Can you imagine like, being a diver, and you’re 20 feet underwater, it’s murky, and you run into a moose

book one: does not pull off this very traditional cut at all. he looks like an onion with a horse’s tail glued onto his head. (1/10)

book two: wholesome cut, so cute. just look at him, he just wants to support his uncle and be happy. (10/10)

book three: angst overload. too much edginess, look at him. wow he even has hair in front of his eyes. so rebellious (4/10)

Only just had the time to look through this website today and, props to ‘em, it’s a fantastic tabletop gaming resource! It has good content for inspiration, and it sources ideas from the community, giving credit where it’s due.

There’s a lovely old English myth that if someone who truely loved and trusted the werewolf called it by name that it would turn back to human.

Others include throwing their human clothes at it and it’d turn back but that’s a bit less romantic

#ok i understand ppl would take the romancey route here#but imagine the werewolf’s mother#or grandmother#some wizened old woman or middle aged woman#with wrinkles or hands toughened from years of labor#just going out into the woods#where even the men with axes won’t go anymore#and facing down the ravening beast#and saying#it’s time to come home

I actually like the “throwing clothes at it” better cause now I’m picturing Grandma stomping out of the house at 3 AM in her slippers, arms full of clothes and facing down this horrible, snarling beast.

And then she just starts flinging clothes at it like “GODDAMN IT JEFFERY IT IS THREE IN THE FUCKING MORNING YOU GET YOUR PANTS ON AND COME BACK INSIDE RIGHT THIS MINUTE”

I love both these versions.
