1. taking each other’s hands during a stressful situation, instantly reliveing the pressure of the situation
2. smiling in-between kisses
3. during a hug, one of them pulls the other closer, followed by the other one nudging their head into the crook of their lover’s neck
4. forehead kisses
5. they’re in bed, one of them’s like “it’s time to get up” and their lover pulls them back down, wraps their hands around their body, snuggles up close, preventing the other one from getting out of bed

9. bantering, judging each other but in a way that’s like, what you’re doing right now, is really stupid, but you’re adorable and i can’t help but love you
10. when one of them is like… i don’t know… hurt or something… and the other one is just like… tending to their wounds… and then just like… wrap them into their arms… thankful that they’re alive…
11. when one of them is hurt by the antagonist… and their lover goes… absolutely ballistic and does everything in their power to get to the person they love, to the point in which the antagonist and it’s crew have to physically restrain them… and it still doesn’t stop them… they jsut keep kicking… doesn’t matter what happens to them… doesn’t matter if they get beaten in the process… as long as their lover is safe…
12. when they haven’t seen each other for a while (bonus point if they’re not sure the other one is alive) and all this time they’ve been trying to stay strong, but when they reunite, they crash into each other’s arms, and completely breakdown…
13. “i’m not worthy of anybody’s love.” “that’s not true, you’re worthy of mine.” followed by the lover breaking eye-contact… + a love confession
14. when one of them has never had a proper birthday party for whatever reason, and their lover makes it their mission to give them the best day ever, followed by “you didn’t have to do all this for me. just being with you is enough.” “i know. but i thought you deserved ?’’ and their lover smiles, a kiss is shared
15. one of them being like… i’m totally getting off track here, but you’re like, really hot so i’m going to pick you up and throw you on the bed, followed by their lover smacking them on their head (gently) because they have important things to do
16. ’‘you shouldn’t be here.” “i had to make sure you were okay.” silence. “can i come in?” more silence. you decide. angst or happy ending?
17. when they’re forced apart, and they get to say goodbye, and they cry, share a last kiss, holding hands until the very end, until they’re so far apart they have to let go…

19. one of them resting their head on the other’s lap, falling asleep
20. wearing their lover’s clothes! (also, “can I get my shirt back? ’'no.”)
21. being jealous! not to the point of it being unhealthy, just a moderate amount of cute jealously, in which their partner just laughs it off and gives them a kiss

23. when a character is falling in love, and their love interest is making them smile, and they’re flustered, blushing, in such a happy state of mind that they look to the ground, trying to hide their burning red cheeks
24. banter in which one of them’s like… “i love you” and the other person’s like “ok” and the first one’s like “say it back” and the other one’s just like “no 😝” and the first one gets frustrated because “why wouldn’t you say it back we always say i love you before we leave”
25. when they’re doing something outside, it’s dark outside, and one of them views something pretty in the sky, like a shooting star, or just the stars in general, and they pull their lover by the hand, all excited to watch the shooting star, and their lover looks at them in pure admiration
26. when it’s a slow burn, and the characters just look at each other like “fuck it i’m done with this” and kiss

• first let’s remember:

• nick’s “oh you know the other day i did think ‘oh rebecca and coach lasso would make a good couple’
• jason’s: “now that he and rebecca are–”

• we are in the ‘friends’ part of enemies to friends to lovers trope. we have a 3 season arc and impeccable, trustworthy writers. s1 didn’t let us down and neither will s2. 
• okay: rebecca dating someone is a good thing. she needs to figure out what she wants. right now her baseline is “not rupert.” but she needs to shake off some dating rust, figure out what she is looking for in a partner. now, if that happens to also accompany some comparisons of john wingstop to ted to help her come to some realizations, great! but this is a GOOD thing. and rebecca deserves to dress up and feel beautiful and wanted and powerful and all of the things that we want for rebecca!
• ted has some shit of his own to handle. before he can be with rebecca in a long-lasting way, ted needs to handle his anxiety and his dependency on making others happy. i think we’re going to see ted hit rock bottom, especially with a team therapist evaluating him, and rebecca and the team be there to pick him up. and rebecca will absolutely be there to lead the charge to take care of ted. 
• as the great dana scully once said: ”Well, it seems to me that the best relationships - the ones that last - are frequently the ones that are rooted in friendship. You know, one day you look at the person and you see something more than you did the night before. Like a switch has been flicked somewhere. And the person who was just a friend is… suddenly the only person you can ever imagine yourself with.” the fact that we’re seeing rebecca and ted as best friends engaging and supporting each other, being vulnerable, being silly, being all of the things that are the foundation of a great, long-lasting relationship–that’s amazing. think of your own romantic relationships!! how many of them were you friends with first? how many times have you looked up and seen the person across from you and gone oh. babes, we’re gonna see the oh moment in s2, bet.
• ted and rebecca are not aware of their feelings for each other. i know we, as shippers, see it so clearly and see what they could be, but they have so much baggage to get through and at the end of the day we are gonna see the pay off as they heal and come togehter.
• the ENTIRE “HI TED” IN TINSEL SCENE REMEMBER THAT
• REMEMBER LAST CHRISTMAS AND STROLLING TOGETHER 
• the biscuits: i know we’re all !!!!!! that ted baked biscuits for the therapist, but ted and rebecca are more than just biscuits!!! that was the little crack that ted wiggled through!!! 
• JUST! HAVE! FAITH! nothing is over until it’s over. we have NO idea what’s going to happen in s2. we are speculating all over the place! BE CURIOUS. NOT JUDGMENTAL.
