hello studyblr community! \(⁎⁍̴̛ᴗ⁍̴̛⁎)/

i’m back with a new bujo spread to share. i’ve gone long enough here on tumblr so might as well be back with this beige theme spread for the first week of march. i’m so excited coz next week will be my birthday. yey! i’m still busy with my undergraduate thesis but i’m half way through it + next next week will be our midterm examination, so probably, i’m gonna study on my birthday. lol. also, thank you for sticking around here in my blog! i will always be grateful. 🤗

right now i’m finishing my presentation on my undergrad. seminar about stem cells as treatment for osteoarthritis! it’s quite difficult but we can do this. have a great day everyone!

On this day two years ago studybuddy and I had lunch at Feast and he shyly asked me to out “next Tuesday” and I was like uhh ok

But it didn’t hit me til we left that “next Tuesday” was Valentine’s Day :-)

I tell this story every year but tl;dr our two year anniversary is coming up thanks for coming to my ted talk

I really should clean my desk before the New Year arrives tonight, but I’m also 1 week out from a major exam… The pre-exam mess and stress is real. I don’t ever do New Year’s resolutions since I’m an inpatient Aries who would rather start things as soon I think of them!  However, reflecting upon everything today, I think I’ll make my resolution this: 

I will be conscious of what I eat, and exercise more. 

So what does this mean exactly? Am I about to turn into a health/fitness blog? No lol. I know that healthy eating and exercise has positive impacts on my mental health, which inevitably helps me approach my schoolwork with a much clearer mind. Dealing with anxiety this year, my concentration, memory and energy levels were greatly affected to the point where I was falling asleep at my desk. I’ve since tweaked my planning system to accommodate the fatigue, which has helped a lot, but I’m ready to continue this journey and do my best work yet next year. Watch out, guys!

Prune your contact list yearlySome people say to do this once a quarter and if you have the time to do it, great, but I usually don’t. I find that the best time to get in touch with people that you haven’t spoken to in a while is to just send them a quick personal email or note once a year, at new years, wishing them a happy new year. Almost everyone celebrates it, it’s politically correct, and if you are lucky it can even rekindle a relationship long dormant, whether its business or pleasure.
