After the events of attempting to overthrow Z.eus , he finds himself mulling over centuries of plans & deals wasted on something he couldn’t even obtain & finds it wasn’t worth all the effort. The realization hits him & he spends a decade in grief over the fact that this is his life. He will forever be fated to rule & be confined to depths of the Un.derworld. For about half a century he rarely leaves the walls of his home , only leaving for dire circumstances as he fears of what might happen if spotted by a mortal. He is full of regret & remorse for his actions , self - loathing over the fact he let envy & rage consume his being. Loathing that he became WORSE than the very brother he wanted to overthrow. & though he likes to think he is bettering himself once more & trying to better the kingdom he reigns , he will never forget , nor forgive , the monster that lurks deep inside.
