Writing Prompt #178
“I’m sorry.”
“You didn’t do anything wrong. I just wish you had told me so it didn’t seem like you were hiding it from me.”
“I’m sorry.”
“You didn’t do anything wrong. I just wish you had told me so it didn’t seem like you were hiding it from me.”
“I guess I’m just not enough for anyone to care about.”
“Bullshit. Don’t let someone else’s asshole actions make you think any less of yourself.”
“You look great.”
“Thanks! It’s amazing what getting rid of a cheating jerk can do to your complexion!”
“How can I ever forgive myself if you won’t forgive me?”
“Not my problem.”
“We could’ve had everything. But you were too busy chasing nothing to notice.”
“Shush. You’re distracting me.”
“Well, that is what I do best.”
“But what if--?”
“No. Don’t. It’s the ‘what if’s’ that hurt the most.”
“So you lost him, huh?”
“I didn’t lose him. He was never all mine to begin with.”
“Fight me.”
“There you go again with the unnecessary aggression.”
“I thought we would always be friends.”
“Yeah, see... that’s where you were wrong.”
“He was my whole world.”
“Well that was your first mistake.”
“I hate you.”
“Are you sure that’s not the alcohol talking?”
“You’re cute.”
“Damn. I was going for intimidating and vaguely threatening.”
“Calm down, it’s not that big of a deal.”
“Well call me crazy, but as far as I’m concerned, receiving death threats is kind of a big deal!”
“Are you flirting with me?”
“Well it’s about time you noticed.”
“I’m an emotional wreck.”
“It’s okay, you’re a cute emotional wreck.”
“I’m just scared you’re going to get tired of me.”
“Why?”
“Because everyone gets tired of me.”
