Claire stood and made her way to the kitchen, and came back with a glass of water for him.

“Well, I have to make a trip to meet some people about some sensitive information. But where I need to meet them makes the job a little...risky, all things considered.”
Wheelchairs weren’t exactly made for going off-road. Even the one she used for recreational sports, even the one she used for the dirt paths on hiking routes she used to take. At the campsite, there would be no smooth pathways.
“Odds are everything will go without a hitch, but just in case...it’d be nice to have a friend with me.”
