Just read a thing that suggested tumblr etiquette was to put comments in the tags rather than in the main section of a Reblog and it was somehow considered rude not to… still don’t quite understand why but not been here long and it does explain why people put so much commentary in tags where it gets lost… always confused me.
So… apologies if I’ve been offending anyone but as I much enjoy seeing comments / interaction on my stuff out in plain sight / rebloggably so that’s what I do to other posts. Please let me know if it bothers you and I’ll keep things short and sweet in the tags for you instead :)
oh I just thought that was for finding stuff or like "mumbled additional thoughts"! But then I'm very new to this. I think the way you've been doing it is good, at least I find that easier to read!
And tags get lost, as you say, so it doesn't make sense to write all this in there?!
I am terrible at tagging for sensible reasons (like finding things later), but I try to do it for things I post.
When I reblog, sometimes I'll add "filing" tags, and sometimes I'll have comments I want to share loudly (in the main body like this), occasionally I have things whisper (in the tags).
Interact anyway you want.
No-one has ever said I was rude on here.
Real life is a different story.
I add in the tags and in reblogs and in comments.

I have spent most of today rewriting all my published crochet patterns into U.S terms as i learnt in U.K. terms.
I was thinking about using Google translate to put them into more languages but i don't know how well it truly works.
