You don’t see Thomas Jefferson for another three and a half years.
Well, even then you don’t see him in person — just on your phone screen.
One cold day in mid-February (after you return back home from a long day at your internship), you receive a text message from Erik that contains nothing but a link to a YouTube video. Originally, you shrug it off, thinking that it’ll just be another cute cat video that he occasionally sends out of the blue. When you click on the link, however, it takes you to a video titled, “Thomas Jefferson wins NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year.”
