There are still many artists who have not yet submitted or answered my messages. I only hope that people who signed on to do the hxhbb completly stick with it, not only for their writers/artists, but also for themselves. It would be ideal if every fic had an art peice submission, seeing how a collab was the point of the hxhbb

Whew;

The HxHBB is just about over, and it was an interesting (and challenging!!) experience to plan, organize, and see through to its completion. When I made the original post talking about how I’d like to do something like this, it was done half-jokingly, and I never really expected anything to come of it. It was @shalnarkonice who encouraged me to take the first steps toward starting this blog and turning a post that was pure, half-assed thinking out loud into an actual event, so my deepest and fondest thank-yous go out to youShally!! You helped me as I was writing rules, helped send out messages, helped me keep those countless lists and docs organized and helped to keep me encouraged, and that last part is honestly the most important to me. <3 Thank you Shally, you are so golden and I’m looking forward to having so many more conversations with you!!

I also really gotta thank everyone who offered to help at one point or another (psst, @gonprohunter, thank you especially for being a huge help AND understanding, you’re awesome). You guys didn’t have to step forward, but you did and it made things a little easier.

Lastly, thank you to all the authors and artists who participated!! I hope this helps to facilitate some new friendships. Artists still have a bit of time to start posting, so we’ll all be looking forward to it. Remember to host art on your own blogs and tag accordingly!! I’ll leave it up to you guys to send in links to art and fics if you’d like for there to be a masterpost later on down the line, but it’s not mandatory. And of course, if you have any questions, the askbox will remain open for a time.

Since I've received several questions about this; Artists, all art is due on JUNE 10TH. The reveals will be posted on June 1st so you can post your art on your own blogs and tag accordingly. Authors can go ahead and publicly post their fics on June 1st as well.

Reminders!!

Artists --

I’m not sure if I made this clear before, but you guys aren’t required to do more than one piece of art for your fic!! I know some of these stories are really long (if I do this again in the future, there just might have to be an upper word count limit...), and it can be a lot to read through and do a nice illustration for. So I just wanted to let you guys know that you don’t have to go about illustrating every single scene or anything like that -- one nice picture will do just fine, but of course if you’re feeling inspired, more than one is always welcome!!

Authors --

I’ve been getting messages that some of your google docs aren’t accessible?? Please double-check to make sure that you change the setting on your stories to “viewable to persons with a link”!! I’ll also be sending out messages as reminder to some if you forgot to do this.

Annnnnd as always, thank you guys for being so kind and patient with me as I tidy up loose ends and get everyone sorted. As always, if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask!!
