#absolutely the horta and im not even being ironic #i think the horta is by far the most interesting alien they encountered because it’s so realistic to me #not the effects obviously but the ‘science’ #like OF COURSE there are lifeforms based in different elements than us! #lifeforms that are so different from us we don’t even recognize them as life at first! #that communicate and live and eat in completely different ways as us #but are still recognized as capable of intelligent thought and even cooperation for mutual benefit with humans #that’s what space is all about babey!!
