Alex never really liked weddings, but his cousin was getting married and had asked him to be the best man, so how could he not go? When it came time for the wedding party he regretted not leaving when he could. His date had ditched him for someone else, the only other person he knew had disappeared, and now he was alone and basically living at the food table. The only thing that kept him from leaving at this point was the cake and the cute photographer he kept glancing at.

“Hey. Mind if I snap a photo of just you?” Tristan asks, smiling warmly as he approaches the food table. “Gotta get some of the best man.” He grins brightly. “Plus the cake is delicious so I’ll get more of that.”

Alex looked up when he noticed Tristan walking over. “Ah- hey, no, not at all. I don’t mind. Go for it.” He hummed with a small shake of his head as he smiled up at him. “I was just about to get some more. You want me to cut you up a piece?”

“Sure. It’ll make a great picture.” He winks, moving to snap a few photos. “I’m Tristan.” He introduces with a smile. “Tristan Jones. You must be Alex, right?”

Alex chuckled softly as he moved to cut two slices of cake, waiting until Tristan had finished taking photos before passing it to him. "Yeah, that's me. The one and only." He nodded, pausing to eat some of his cake. "Nice to meet you, Tristan."
