I bought this expensive ass yogurt as a gift to myself so that I could make little candles in the tiny terracotta pot it comes in and it turns out it is the best, creamiest, most buttery heavenly delicious yogurt I have ever tasted and I’m now addicted

sometimes things that are expensive are worse but sometimes things that are expensive are astronomically better and that’s where the real problem lies

YOU CAN TORRENT GOOD YOGHURT. If the good yoghurt has a live culture you can use it to make a whole pot of new yoghurt with the exact same bacteria culture. You'll have to add flavoring yourself but it should be similar.

It took me a few seconds to realize this is new! The art style and the animation style are so similar to the originals that the only tells I could find are the higher quality from the ones I grew up with and they were never in a sushi restaurant in any of the old shorts I remember.

Revolving sushi bars came to the US in the early 2000s, so yes, this is delightfully sizing up a brand-new modern, interesting space with contraptions and objects we're all familiar with and transforming into a fantastic battleground and obstacle course.

U ever have any container or appliance that you only ever put water inside you catch yourself thinking 'i only put water in this so I won't need to clean it very often'. That is the devil talking. Clean it. Or you will summon the Ooze.

looking at the notes on this post, some further info:

Electric kettles: you can buy cleaning tablets for these and follow the instructions; alternatively you can use vinegar, lemon juice or baking soda for a similar effect

Humidifiers: strictly speaking you should change the water daily & clean them weekly. you can clean them with vinegar OR a bleach solution. (NOT BOTH. that will summon the Deadly Gas). you might find bottle brushes helpful.

Water bottles: if you don't have a dishwasher and/or a dishwasher safe water bottle you can get bottle cleaning kits off places like Amazon.

Important tip: understand that rinsing with a cleaning agent does not really clean a vessel. you need mechanical action (scrubbing) to actually remove all the crud built up on whatever needs cleaning.

Also, when you wash water bottles pull the gaskets out of their lids (I use toothpicks to pry them out) and scrub both the gaskets and their grooves in the lids. heinous shit can hide under the gaskets. If you've ever had a water bottle that stayed gross and stinky even though you washed it a couple times, or one that got smelly super quickly after a washing, this was probably its issue.

So I’ve been slowly learning more about makeup techniques over the last couple years and some things have been hit or miss but this feels like the FIRST video that spoke to me and actually taught me shit I haven’t picked up elsewhere. The face contouring (including hitting the forehead to make it look smaller) spoke to me and THE TIP ABOUT THE FUCKING CHAPSTICK EYESHADOW instead of traditional lipstick is a GAME CHANGER OMG
