  • “You. Rest. Now.”
  • “You took five steps and need to sit down again?”

Korvus and Ajax have never had a supernatural experience. Zirelva on the other has in her youth had an experience of the supernatural kind when exploring an abandoned village during a hunt, she dismisses it as some monster stalking through the houses to cover the fact that there was no life at all in the village, not even plant life.

MH RISE - CLARIFICATIONS

(please note this is my opinions and my opinions only - none of this should be taken as hard cold facts)

I’m noticing some confusion (especially from the fans who started with MH World) over MH Rise. So I wanted to do a bit of clarification.

MH RISE IS GENERATION 5

Im seeing some stuff that MH rise is like Gen 6 or whatever. It isnt and part of it is due to the fact that it is the handheld team thats making it, and the references to 5 (50 years ago something bad happened) as well as it not having the typical characteristics of a generation.

BEING MADE BY THE HANDHELD TEAM DOES NOT MEAN THE GAME IS EASIER NOR DOES IT MEAN ITS A LESSER GAME

Infact, the handheld team were the ones who created the G-Rank versions of the previous games. They were the team behind Monster Hunter 1 G (aka Monster Hunter Freedom) while the main team worked on Monster Hunter 2. They added so much stuff the game became its own game and THEY MADE THE GAME HARDER. THESE ARE THE INSANE FOLKS WHO MADE THE GAME HARDER NOT EASIER.

THE SWITCH DOES NOT MEAN THE GAME WILL HAVE LESS CONTENT

Quite the contrary… all of the Monster Hunter games on Switch have actually had the most content in the entire series. Monster Hunter XX (GenU) boasts over 100 monsters. What we do notice from Rise is the lower graphical quality, which to be honest back in World seemed to be majority particle effects and shading as well as environmental details. Rise is going back to the large open areas and less shading. I am expecting SIGNIFICANTLY MORE content than World. Infact, I’m gonna go out on a limb and say the content for World will be like 3/3U while Rise is gonna be closer to 4/4U. 

THE SWITCH AND BEING ON NINTENDO MEANS LESS CROSSOVERS - NOT TRUE

Actually… I hate to break it to you but…. World had less crossovers than 4 and Gen. Like significantly less. Usually the reason why we get less crossovers is because Monster Hunter crosses over with anime and video games. Games like MH Frontier and MH Explore got A CRAPTON of crossover content, including special monsters like the Titan themed Aberrant Deviljho (for Attack on Titan). 4U had crossovers from a BUNCH OF NINTENDO PROPERTIES (such as Metroid, Zelda, Mario, etc.). World was the first time they did not have “reskins” of monsters but straight up actual monsters from other properties (Leshen, Nekkers, and Behemoth). I predict we will see more of these in the future :>
