“no, roy doesn’t like me like that.” jamie insists while the team is at the bar. “roy hates me still. love ain’t on the table.”

everyone shares a glance, unable to really believe that.

isaac watched as jamie wordlessly walked over to where roy was eating lunch and handed over his clementines. roy peeled them without breaking conversation with beard and nate, going so far as to peel the little white bits off too before handing the clementine back. everyday jamie does that, and everyday roy peels them without complaint. if that’s not love, isaac doesn’t know what is.

sam overheard as jamie talked for several minutes about something so random and inconsequential to their daily lives, but roy listened. he didn’t say a word, didn’t interrupt other than to add a little tidbit of his own to the story. there was a small smile on the corner of his lips and his eyes were bright. it didn’t matter how boring the topic was, roy wanted to hear it. if that’s not love, sam doesn’t know what is.

the whole team witnessed roy coming into the locker room before training and saw jamie wasn’t there. they all watched as roy began to pace around his office, head down and not speaking to anyone. that is, until jamie came strolling into the locker room a minute before training started, drinks in his hand; one for him and one for roy. jamie knows roy’s coffee order by heart. if that’s not love, the team doesn’t know what is.

keeley pointed out that whenever roy says something that causes the team to laugh, he always looks at jamie to see if he’s laughing. if jamie’s not, roy adds to the joke until he does. if that’s not love, she doesn’t know what is.

“and,” jan says pointedly. “the two of you were kissing in the boot room yesterday.”

“yeah, out of hate!” jamie defends even when everyone starts laughing uncontrollably.

I like how recognizable this 19th century cram session is. Especially the guy who’s just sitting there with a book, staring into the middle distance and smoking. You’d be better off getting some sleep, at this point, my dude!

Alright I’ve calmed down. Ish. AAAARGH. Fine. Fine. Go abandon your found family for a golf course hotel, see if I care. (sob)

Okay but seriously, ok. I’m still gonna act like this episode doesn’t exist, but yes I guess it was alright. I’m glad we got old Alison and Mike visiting the ghosts along with the implication that they do this regularly, gave me a little closure if not what I actually needed from the episode. Oh god. It’s fictional I need to get over it. MAN. I’m just sad honestly. I was the same after the Captain’s episode, I’ll get over it.

Ellwood smiled, and a sudden, dry bleakness spread over Gaunt’s heart as he thought of Hercules, and Hector, and all the heroes in myth who found happiness briefly, only for it not to be the end of the story.

Summary: It's just a routine surgery; a simple appendix removal, so when Hotch gets the text from his newest agent, he doesn't think much of it until the hospital alerts him of a complication in surgery: Spencer's haemorrhaged, and they don't know if he'll pull through or not.

As the team race to the hospital, they're forced to confront how they've behaved towards their newest team member and hope desperately that it's not too late to make things right.

Tags: hurt/comfort, whump, surgery, appendicitis, hurt!spencer, dad hotch, team as family, guilt, angst with a happy ending, fluff

Pairing: Gen // Platonic Aaron Hotchner & Spencer Reid; BAU Team & Spencer Reid

Word Count: 3.1k

Okay, so a couple things: - it's Rossi, not Gideon, purely because I couldn't think of why Hotch would be Spencer's emergency contact if Gideon was around, and I don't really know how to right that guy so I just... don't lol (I don't like Rossi either btw, all these old ass white men SUCK smh) - once again, Elle joined before Spencer & Spencer is the newest recruit because that's how I like to play out my early seasons fics - I'm so sorry I disappeared for so long and that this is late! I haven't had a spare minute in weeksss, university is kicking my arse rn, but I'm so happy to finally be sharing this with you guys <3
TW: mentions of surgery, death, and blood. Not medically accurate by any stretch of the imagination.

Hotch feels bad for Spencer when he gets his text at 7.33 in the morning, just as he’s pushing through the door into the bullpen. He had appendicitis when he was 13, and it was far from fun, and even just recalling that pain, as he weaves his way through the desks up to his office, makes him wince.

Hope the surgery goes well, he types out quickly. Feel better soon.

As soon as he hits send, he’s back in the zone of chasing serial killers and filing paperwork. He reaches for the next case file in the stack on the side of his desk, and all thoughts of his sick, hospitalised subordinate leave his mind.

please help an autistic transmasc person get consistent internet access to get a restraining order

i need funds for a new modem so i can file a restraining order against my parents. my parents keep showing up at my apartment and threatening violence against me and my partner. they tried to lock me in their car and they also filed a fake police report on my partner.

my internet company sent me a modem that isn’t compatible a couple months ago. i asked for a replacement and they said they will only if they come and install it themselves. my partner is immunocompromised and homebound so thats not possible. i need to be able to fill out forms and do court video calls but my internet only works for 1-2 minutes at a time because of my modem.
