The event today at the You Are Here cafe was so fun. I just want to say thank you to you guys for being so approachable and kind. Also for having an event that helped me meet some awesome new people and make new friends. I had a fan letter written for you guys but left it on my desk so I will have to get that out to you guys later. Thanks again for being great.

Yeah! We listen to most of their albums. You Can Win a Rabbit is fun, but Bluish is probably our favourite song :D
Are you familiar with much Canadian Indie from the 2000s (i,e Broken Social Scene, Stars, Metric?)
Of course! Ageless Beauty is one of my favourite songs (and the video makes me weep). We listened to a lot of Broken Social Scene (though we’re not fond of their last album). Kevin Drew makes some great stuff as well. Metric we saw live as well! Though we’re not as into them as we once were!

I have a question for Martina, how did the doctors find out about your EDS? Did you have to ask, or did they just check for it as a common thing to rule out? Asking on anon because I don't want to seem like a hypochondriac😅
It was really just a doctor who saw the symptoms and then put it together. Other doctors just thought it was a sign of clumsiness, but one clever one remembered reading about EDS in some obscure book and then put it together :D

We’ve been doing our best to listen to a different album every city we’re in, so that, when we hear that album again in the future, we’ll remember what we did in that city. Now that we’re in Los Angeles for a week, every time I hear Miguel again I remember being jet lagged and walking on Robson at 5AM, going out on a speedboat to see seals at Horseshoe Bay, and eating poutine a few too many times.
