Today I didn't have any lessons in the morning so I had a kind of self-care morning. I made myself a coffee ☕ then listened music while I did a manifestation.🌸

I wrote another essay for history than I re-read my notes and study for my class. In the afternoon I did some english listening tasks and also I had a private history at 5pm.📝

very proud of the amount of work i got done today 😊 focusing has been s big struggle for me throughout the pandemic, and i feel like I'm finally starting to get a grip on things again!

Here is my daily study space. I find it really relaxing to study next to such big windows, it makes me happy.

The semester is coming to an end soon! Time really does move fast... I hope everyone’s midterms having been good.

studying is starting to grow on me

The (online) lecture that I attended yesterday was absolutely mindblowing. I simply cannot stop thinking about it. I somehow learned a lot about myself as well. I’m learning that I am a romantic person. I suppose I already knew this, but I don’t think I really knew what that meant. Romance, I think, isn’t being naive and unrealistic. Romance is, in my opinion, simply choosing not to think about the usefulness of things, but simply doing them. Doing things because of the journey, not because of the destination.

Apart from that, I’m also starting to realise that I need more bookmarks. I’m currently reading two works of fiction (not counting the books that I put ‘on hold’), three books for school, and the two new books I ordered arrived just a few hours ago... ah well, scarps of paper will have to do for now.

04.04.2021 An Easter weekend in Boston. When the trees are in blossom I am so happy - I feel like Anne of Green Gables with her Snow Queen. I like to say good morning to all the trees and tell them that I am so glad they are awake now up after a long winter.

happy easter to everyone who celebrates! 🐰personally i don’t really do much for easter and we are doing even less this year. i am determined to finish all of my notes for one of my history courses (about 3 units of notes) so that tomorrow i can get around to proper revision in all my subjects! i am going to have a nice meal with my family this evening though which i’m looking forward to. i also treated myself to these special cookies that my mum’s colleague made for us and it was DELICIOUS! do you do anything special?
