This is wonderful! A great take on the show, a lovely and well-deserved call out to @firesign23 and really fun to read.

“There’s a bright line between what they will and won’t do; they both know where the line is, and constantly walk right up to the line, and sit on the line’s desk, and enjoy late night drinks with the line, but they won’t cross it until they’re both ready.”

Fantastic! I've rarely seen the beauty of Phrack so perfectly articulated.   And great shout-out to @firesign23

Soirée at Aunt Prudence‘s. 2020. Markers, Ink Liner and Gel Pen on A4.

So this was probably the fastest fanart from idea to finished I‘ve ever had. But I really, really like Rippon Lea and read one too many fics where Phrack have to endure a society event without crime.

This is lovely!

anyway they’re in love <3<3<3

(this is a sequel of a sort to this picture, which I posted six years ago(!!) and remains to this day one of my most popular pieces of fanart because the Miss Fisher fandom is just lovely)

Another school teacher here. We've been warned not to just start reading storybooks on You Tube willy-nilly, that we'll be finding out, soon, how the copyright issues will work out. Can we have your permission to read your books online to our classes? (Thanks!)

Yes. I’m giving blanket permission to teachers and educators and librarians (and to anyone with a loved one or child at the other side of a screen who needs to read to them). These are weird times. We should hang together.

Miss Fisher QuarantApril

Feeling a little disconnected these days? We hear you, and same. But during this time of isolation, stories can bring us together, so for the month of April we’re running MFMM QuarantApril. Stories for this open collection can be anything around a general theme of enforced isolation (physical or emotional). Modern AU characters connect via Zoom? Snowstorm traps our heroes (and they have how many beds???)? Phrack after BatW? Hugh passes the time during quarantine learning close hand magic? All acceptable and awesome. Just add it to the collection above and brighten someone’s day (and hopefully your own as well)!

Short on inspiration right now? Don’t sweat it! We have more coming soon which may or may not involve alpacas. 😉 Stay tuned!

A challenge for these times. All old and new MFMM writers are so very welcome! <3
