He sniffed at the fish again, then started to nibble at it. “Num num num.”
She just stood there and allowed the small dragon to nibble at the fish she’d managed to catch for him, her smile remaining.
He blinked, and sniffed towards the fish. After a moment, he slowly climbed down, then towards the fish. He still watched the fairy dog, though.
Eleonore continued to hold the fish out to the little dragon, offering him a small smile. She tried not to make any sudden movements though so as not to scare him off again.
He looked around, before curling up on the branch and continuing to keep watch for anyone else with weapons.
The dog fairy eventually returned, a fish in one of her paws. And looking up toward the hatchling, she held it up as if offering it to him, hoping he’d come down.
The little dragon hissed from the branch it was on, watching her as he shook. Kura clung tightly to the branch. He had no idea where he was, then someone had come to– as far as he knew– slay him. Not a good start.
Eleonore sort of half-expected that, especially after the little guy saw the sword she’d carried. Still, she didn’t want him to be afraid of her, so she left for a little while, though her scent still seemed nearby.

“Heyy! There’s my girl!”
“Heya, Rocket!” Eleonore greeted him back, her short tail wagging a bit. Definitely happy to see him.
Kura blinked when he heard someone coming, and he faced the sound.
…and then he saw the sword.
A terrified squeal came from the little dragon, and he scurried up a tree as fast as he could.
Eleonore blinked a bit and craned her neck back a little looked up at the small dragon in the tree. Seeing as it looked so young, she doubted it could wreck havoc like some of the more vicious older dragons. Not to mention she felt kind of bad for scaring the poor dear.
“You can come back down. I’m not gonna hurt ya.” As those words left her mouth, she placed her sword back in its hilt. Though she wasn’t sure if that would get him to come down.
Verse: Dragon’s Rage (Hatchling)
A little dragon squeaked, looking around in confusion. “Mah? Dah?” He squeaked, before waddling around. He let out a squeaky little roar, as if he were calling for someone.
Currently on patrol, an armor wearing Granbull uttered a quiet 'huh' and turned her head toward where the squeaky little roar came from. Sounded like a dragon, but it seemed really young judging by that tiny roar alone. And sword in hand just in case, the dog fairy started to approach.
Ramses backed up a little bit. He was staring at her with tears in his eyes. He’s not mortally wounded but… his heart sure is. He not only lost his father not too long ago due to old age… but… now… his mother had been killed by humans. He did calm down a little bit though when the hound spoke. If she had been human he wouldn’t trust her one bit. “You’re not going to try to kill me? Me? An abomination?” Those humans must’ve said some pretty harsh things to him…
Abomination? The fact that he'd called himself that along with the tears in his eyes... It made her heart wrench. Was that really what he believed himself to be? She could only assume it'd been pushed into his mind by those who were quite cruel. While she knew there were nice people in this world, she also knew some people could be mean. And that was putting it mildly.
In response to his words, the Granbull shook her head. "No, I'm not gonna try to kill ya... I swear on it. Just... tell me what happened here." She then braced herself to hear something not-so-great.

Eleonore observed the scene before her, frowning as her gaze drifted to the slain humans along with his mother. Her attention then shifted back to the half-demon, and she took a step toward him. Not without keeping plenty of distance between them though, especially with his apparent distrust.
"Look... I dunno what happened here, but I'm not here to hurt ya. I only wanna help ya out."

Eleonore blinked a few times, then she giggled a bit, feeling a bit silly for worrying so much. "I should've figured yer fluffy fur kept ya nice ‘n’ warm."
{💣}—; Roo fidgeted and was continuing to twitch as the Granbull spoke with him, seeming more like she wanted to get away than have anything to do with him which was disappointing to the insane roo.
Of course he wasn’t in his right state of mind, but whenever he would snap out of it and she’s see what he was really like then no doubt he’d feel pretty guilty.
For now, as he saw her run he hopped along after her cackling like the mad kangaroo he was. “You know you run away from me, what are you going to do if I keep following? HEEHEEHAHAHAHA~!”
"The only thing I can do... keep runnin'!" As she spoke, Eleonore glanced back at the crazy roo, shifting her attention forward again right afterward. Sure she wasn't exactly the fastest thing alive and couldn't run forever, but she'd try regardless. At least until she legs couldn't run any longer.

“Yer not here to insult me, are ya?” Eleonore placed her paws on her hips, not entirely fond of the gal she’d managed to cross paths with again. Sure she hadn’t spoken with her often, but the few times the Granbull did, she was quite rude.
