I think it turned out exactly how I wanted it to#you’re lost in the mountains. it’s getting dark and the weather is cold. a young person appears from behind a tree up ahead.#‘are you lost?’ they ask. you know you should be more wary of a stranger but your cold and alone and so you tell him yes. you are lost.#they smile. their eyes hidden behind round snow goggles. ‘come on. I can show you back to the main roads.’ they becon with a gloved hand.#night comes soon but despite it they don’t stop. staying close enough that you can see them and speaking to make sure you are still with#you stumble and suddenly their hand is on your arm keeping you steady even though seconds ago they had been well ahead of you. you flinch.#you can still just about see their face in the moonlight. they grin each tooth as white as the snow around you and you feel uneasy.#still you have no clue where else to go so you follow. they keep a steady pace. not seemingly slowed by uneven terrain or the dark.#every time you stumble they are at your side no matter how far ahead they were.#you stumble more now. the cold has made your limbs go numb and it’s only when the steady hand lands on your arm do you realise how much#you’re shaking. you beg him to stop. to let you rest. but they merely smile and you continue. after what feels like years#but looking back must have only been hours you find yourself suddenly stumbling out of the trees and for the first time no hand steadies yo#you call out and only then do you realise lantern light has joined the light of the moon. there are new voices and someone pulling you up.#helping you into a fire lit house and dipping your limbs in warm water before wrapping you in warm furs. when you wake up the village#doctor is there. he tells you you were lucky. that any longer outside and the frostbite on your limbs would have gone too far.#and they might have had to do something more drastic then a warm bath to save you. you ask about the person you were with.#the stranger with white hair and the doctor and the woman who found you look at you funny. ‘you were alone’ says the woman.#‘you must have met the frozen one’ says her wife as she sits by the fire. her mountain accent is stronger then the others.#‘he leads those lost in the mountains back to the roads to safety. think e’s ghost. some folk say he gets people lost in the first place but#I don’t believe that.’ you think of the kid who pushed you to keep moving. who steadied you when you stumbled. who you only lost sight of#when you were finally safe. ‘I don’t either.’ you say. and you believe it.#…got possessed by the writing bug huh. anyway 90% of the time he is absolutely helping people but they aren’t about getting people lost#sometimes those on the roads will disappear and only reappear froze stark stiff. if he particularly dislikes them that is.#also he has a pack of ghost wolves :) they r his friemnds

These are primarily ones for Ghazzan families although some fundraisers for Sudanese families are also listed (I'm more familiar with my own country's politics and dialect and am more capable of vetting fundraisers for Palestinians as a result). As a rule of thumb, don't reblog donation posts or people asking for donations unless they've been vetted and reblogged by Palestinian bloggers. We usually go to lengths to verify this shit because we know scammers have been faking to get people to send them money, using the urgency of our genocide as bait.
It's disgusting this is what we're dealing with, but people are losing money because of some truly evil people out there.
Accounts don't just randomly spring up on tumblr without gofundmes while asking for someone to help them create a campaign. Fuck out of here with that shit.
I'm also gonna stop listing the reasons why I recognize something is a scam. It's becoming more and more clear there is 1 person behind this STRING of scams and they're leaving less trails behind but it still reeks of them and their MO.
